Great city for a short break.

Dusseldorf is excellent for a weekend break. Beautiful situation on the Rhine with good shopping, museums, bars and restaurants. Also convenient for visits to nearby towns as the train station seems to serve all of Gernmany. Public transport is very good and well integrated.

Good for weekend break

Dusseldorf is a nice alternative destination. Good upmarket shopping, great nightlife in the Altstadt (Old Town). 2 Horserace courses easily accessible on the excellent transport system. Only 10 mins train journey from the airport on S-Bahn to City centre.

Perfect for shopping ( Koningsallee), beautiful old city ( Altstadt ), take the tower ( nice view ) and make use of the cable above the river Rhein. The place by the Rhein is gorgous, nice cafe's, bars, a lot of people....

old town is very lively with lots and lots of good bars and restaurants

airport was nice to travel through,and not too far from main city centre about 20 euro in taxi,spent most of my time in old town which if your looking for late nights and crazy busy bars and restaurants this is the place to visit.
