Residential area

Bussy Saint Georges is a residential area in zone 5 of Paris. Very quiet, with many parks and residential apartments, is only two train stations far away from Disneyland (10min) and one train station (5min) from Val D'Europe which has a fantastic shopping centre (I warmly recommend to visit it). It has a small centre with few restaurants. We tried the Chinese buffet but we regretted: the choice of food was limited, the food tasteless and quiet expensive for the quality offered. Because we stayed 2 weeks we enjoyed shopping at Carrefour (the French equivalent of Tesco). Also, there is a bakery with a terrace which is open early morning till late night and offers fresh bread, pizza, macaroni(the French sweet specialty) coffee, and many more. If you love sport do not miss the tennis court where you can play for free, just bring your own rackets. If you come from Charles du Gaulle airport do not take TGV because has double prices as RER and it stops at Marne la Vallee Disneyland and from there you have to go two stations back by RER at Bussy Saint George. With RER you can reach in 35 minutes; you change in Chatellet Les Halles (the same platform) and take line B (line which ends at Marne la Vallee Disneyland).

The best thing about my stay was ...

It is residential, clean, quiet and has many parks.

Quite, but good location

There are a few restaurants, supermarket and the RER. Best bet is to travel to Valle De Europe, 5 mins away and loads of places to shop and eat.
