Pag Hotels and Apartments
Pag is the second largest island in Croatia, easily accessed by a bridge from the mainland. The warm wind that blows across the island makes Pag a very dry and arid place despite its proximity to the Adriatic.
There are two significant resorts on the island – Novalja and Pag Town. Novalja is in the north and is regarded as the premier party town. The resort is very popular with domestic as well as international tourists looking for a lively holiday. A more sedate holiday is on offer in Pag Town. The resort centre is built around an attractive bay and you can expect to find quiet bars and restaurants rather than noisy night clubs.
There are several local festivals throughout the year as well as regular markets. The island is most famous for local cheese and lamb. Try to sample both during your visit.
