Brac Hotels and Apartments
Brac is situated off the coast of Split and is the third largest island in Croatia. The island is an incredible mix of hilltops, pine trees, amazing beaches and clear blue seas.
You can expect a relaxed, easy going approach to daily life on Brac. The island and its inhabitants are part of a tourism industry stretching back to the 1920s. The island is roughly split north to south in terms of the focus on tourism. On the south coast you will find the majority of the hotels and tourist infrastructure. The north of the island is more rural with wilder beaches and rocky coves.
Bol is the main resort on the south of the island. This simple, historical town is home to one of the finest beaches on the Adriatic Coast. Zlatni Rat beach is an amazing beach that has been drawing tourists in for nearly 100 years. The town itself is a maze of cobbled streets and small squares. You will find plenty of places to eat and drink in the old town and around the modern marina.
Supetar, on the north shore is the largest town on the island. This historical site is the perfect base from which to explore not only the local history but also the islands history in general. Easily accessed, the town offers everything you would expect including some lovely local beaches.
The island of Brac is the perfect destination for an active family holiday.
