The 4-star Gran Hotel Cervantes is a stylish four-star hotel located in the very lively, popular shopping area of Torremolinos, right next to Calle San Miguel. As an impressive, eight-storey hotel, the Gran Hotel Cervantes certainly boasts a lot of rooms and is ideally positioned just seconds away from the beachfront. If you’re looking for a gorgeous hotel that has the perfect place to relax, you’re in luck as it offers a gorgeous rooftop pool and a serene spa experience.
Located just 7km from Malaga Airport, this hotel is the perfect location for those looking to escape to Spain for a bit of sun. The accommodation at the Gran Cervantes Torremolinos resort comprises of a staggering 398 rooms of varying different sizes - the largest being perfect for as many as four people.
One of the main highlights of the hotel is the huge outdoor swimming pool, which is perfect for a refreshing dip after a day or exploring or a spot of relaxing on the hotel’s spacious sun terraces. If you’re travelling as a family, children can enjoy their very own section of the pool, as well as daily activities at the mini-club known as the Bee Club. Food and Drink
As an all-inclusive hotel, the Gran Hotel Cervantes offers a buffet restaurant that serves a wide selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. During the summer the buffet restaurant also has the option to eat outside by the pool. One weekends, there are evening shows by the pool area, and live music in the lobby.
Each room comes complete with free WIFi, fully-equipped bathrooms and either a private balcony or terrace. If you’re lucky, you may find you’re in one of the many rooms that come with a stunning sea view. Upgrades may be available on request, however, they may not always be guaranteed.
By force majeure and due to an unexpected breakdown, we have proceeded to close today 06/11/19 the indoor swimming pool located in the penthouse of GRAN HOTEL CERVANTES by BLUE SEA.

Cervantes Comes Up Trumps Again!
Patrick O'Shea, Cork, Ireland
We stayed at Blue Sea Cervantes for 4 nights at the end of August. We chose it as we have stayed there very many times over the years. Its location is superb being across the road from the lift to the beach and a few metres from Calle San Miguel (the main shopping street) and La Nogalera Square. We had booked a double room with sea view and half-board. On arrival, however, they didn’t have a room with one large bed and offered a room with 2 single beds pushed together. We were given the option of staying in this room or changing to the one with the large bed the following morning. Our room had a large corner balcony with frontal and side sea views – we stayed with this. I must compliment all of the staff (reception, restaurant, chambermaids, etc.) for their friendliness and helpfulness throughout our stay. The food was excellent, though we dined out on one evening. It was in the low to mid 30s by day and low 20s by night – that was somewhat challenging. The rooftop area with its indoor swimming pool was just the thing for lazing in the sun for an hour or so, and a new chill-out bar and lounge (open in the evening) in that area was a clever addition to the hotel’s amenities. Apart from the fact that the Cervantes is getting somewhat dated, it is very good value for money from Alpharooms and we will most definitely stay there again. We always recommend it to our friends.
The best thing about my stay was...Location of Hotel anf Friendliness of Staff

Lovely little break
4 night last minute getaway with my daughter. It’s in an ideal location with the train station only 4 minutes walk away. Lift to beach 1 minute or 10 minutes walk. Rooms fine, maybe a bit of modernisation could be done. As hotel is very modern. Great pool area with plenty of sun beds. Food ok for 4 nights, don’t think I could manage 2 weeks. Drinks fine, quite small but you can go up as often as you like. Cocktails not great unless you’re paying for them, better quality than AI option. Would definitely recommend the Skyline bar, you have to pay for drinks but worth it for view and better quality cocktails.
The best thing about my stay was...Pool area, and AI deal covered till I left the hotel . Bands not removed when I handed over keys.

The Cervantes hotel is very clean. The beds are comfortable. Rooms are good size. The food was plentyful with a good selection. Location in centre of town. I would suggest that the gaming machines in the bar be located elsewhere as the noise was terrible when having a drink at night. Too much banging when adults are trying to relax. I did not like to see animals and birds used for entertainment. .
The best thing about my stay was...Location of hotel and the friendly staff.

A Mixed Bag
JG Richards, Wales, UK
First off my wife and I have been staying at the Cervantes for over 10 years and by that feat alone would say that we enjoy the hotel. However it has changed over the years as things do. It is now owned by Blue Sea and has been for several years. This change in ownership has taken the Hotel in a different direction from the 4* Business Hotel it once was, becoming a primarily All Inclusive 4* Hotel. We have just returned from another week and more changes to be had. First off the Hotel is in a Great Location as other reviews can demonstrate, close to the Train Station, Taxi Rank, Local Shops, Supermarket, Local Bars, Local Restaurants, etc, enough said. To say that you are in the Heart of Torremolinos would be an understatement. The Hotel itself for me has become a mixed bag of feelings, no longer holding the charm it once had, though I may becoming an old man how likes to moan. The Pool on the roof has been closed and turned into another Bar I believe it either needs or benefits from, losing the Pool and Gym in the process, the Hotel already had 2 bars on the ground floor. The by-product of this also is that all the beds that were around the Roof Pool have been moved around the downstairs Pool which only has crowded the area with more beds it did not require, making the area over crowded and to be honest a mess. The Hotel remains lively with All Inclusive being primarily its main business, families throughout the week and Stag/Hen parties on the weekends. Usual rules apply, all inclusive drink the local wares from plastic beakers whilst paying guests (myself) drink from Glasses and named goods, even the Cola is different, All Inclusive syrup, paying from a glass bottle. Can't comment on the food as we were Room Only. It is a Great Hotel in a Great Location but it is not as quiet or refined as it once was unfortunately.

Good Quality City Centre Hotel
David Chambers, Bristol
Just returned from four night Half Board break with wife . Allocated Room 709 on seventh of eight floors with both a sea and pool view . Large well equipped room with two large comfy single beds , lots of storage , TV with ITV and BBC News Channel , a very good shower over bath and large balcony with two seats and table , Great views over pool , sea and town . Free wi-fi over whole Hotel and in rooms . Breakfast offering was good but Evening Meal somewhat repetitive and all vegetables grossly overcooked . Fruit , desert and salad offerings excellent . Hotel is very central and only 100 yards from Railway Station . Beach is around a ten minute walk downhill but there is a lift at 50 cents each way which runs until 23.00 .
The best thing about my stay was...Quality room with great views
