Not what I expected
Eilidh K Moore, Aberdeen, Scotland
First impressions were good. Check-in was speedy & efficient, thank you Maria. The rooms were spacious one bedroom/one living area - sofa, tv,wicker chair, lamp - we hardly used the living area. Our room was equipped with a kettle, a fridge in the wardrobe which worked and a safe which we paid extra for, can’t remember how much, but reasonable. Wardrobe hanging space was fine, but I lived out of my suitcase due to lack of drawer storage. The balcony was clean & of ok size, but a tiny, low table wasn’t very practical. BREAKFAST Nice selection of fruit & juices. The fresh pancakes & omelettes are amazing. Other ‘hot’ food luke warm at best. The cappuccino coffee from the machine was good. Low quality spread & jams. DINING After the 1st night we found it necessary to eat out. The food was very poor quality, lacked variety, was invariably cold. Considering the difference I paid between B&B and HB, I was paying £12.20 for my evening meal, so I took exception to being reprimanded for taking bread, cheese & fruit from breakfast - my opinion being clearly conveyed to the acting manager. The outside pool area is ok, the showers barely work and the pool water was freezing in contrast to the sea temperature. Some of the sun beds are very dirty and the cabanas are mouldy with no curtains. The inside pool is cold and neither the sauna or the steam room were working. I found the 6.50€ for a G+T a bit steep especially as it was served in a horrible tumbler. We had bedding changed once during our week stay with fresh towels daily. Empty cups/glasses weren’t washed or replenished and the table top wasn’t cleaned once. For the first time ever I never left tips for maid or any other service. If you want to make tea, take a mug, the cups are tiny and difficult to hold.
The best thing about my stay was...The location was great, just off the main road but everything just round the corner.

We booked Som Llevante Suties as a late break and to have a look around Cala Bona/Cala Millor. Our first impressions were clean and friendly. The rooms are big, clean and very comfy king size beds. They have a tv in both rooms with a few English channels. WiFi was a bit hit and miss but mainly ok. The breakfast was nice with a good choice. Around the pool was big enough and we never struggled to get beds (6 of us). The only downside I thought was it had no atmosphere. It was to quiet, a little back ground music or a couple of activities would of been great. In the evening they had a singer on apparently, this was not advertised so not many people stayed at the hotel. We we're b+b so went out at night to eat and there's a great selection of places to go. Cala Bona is quite small but has some great bar's, Cala Millor is larger and is only a short stroll away, more shops, bars and restaurants and a nicer beach. All in all we had a fantastic relaxing break and would return to Cala Bona.
The best thing about my stay was...Location

Excellent value, perfect for the price we paid
Phil M, Cheshire UK
We stayed self catering with our 2 children. I can't comment on the all inclusive side. The room was 1st rate, only complaint would be the hard mattresses. Hotel is very modern and well equipped Indoor pool was very handy for the kids being October, they loved it. Helpful staff and very efficient maid service. We would go again as we really like Cala Bona and this hotel catered for all our needs at a very reasonable price
The best thing about my stay was...Indoor heated pool

Apart hotel millor Garden
Linda Wilkie, Bournemouth
Hotel very nice, the rooms are good, clean and a good size. The all inclusive drinks are ok, but the bar staff don't change your cups every time, they should review this. Moisés the entertainment person was so funny, we laughed and laughed with him, he try's very hard to entertain the children. The reception staff were very helpful, we found the breakfast not good but lunch and dinner good. All in all we had a great holiday and hope to return next year.
The best thing about my stay was...The relaxation of the hotel, and Moisés the entertainer.

Stayed in millor gardens July 2016' we stayed in the annex part of the hotel which was across the road from the hotel. The room itself was very basic and badly in need of a makeover. We had air con in the apartment but not the bedroom. Toaster and hair dryers had to be rented from reception. Poolside opens at 8 in the morn but you need to be there about 7:40 to make sure to get a sun lounger. The apartment is ideally situated between cala bona and cala millor. Special mention for Moises who is the animations entertainer , he was excellent and always had a smile on his face. I know it is 3 star rated but would definitely not stay there again ( very basic ).WiFi by pool is free but if you want it in your room it costs 15 euros per week
The best thing about my stay was...Location is perfect

The best thing about my stay was the bar staff. Manuel, Tomas and Samuel did their upmost to help you and always with a smile. The quality of the food was excellent and always something to eat. The air conditioning in the hotel was really poor especially in the bar area which was disappointing especially as it was very hot. Also the queue to put towels on the bed started at 8.00am when the doors opened and their was not enough beds or umbrellas. The resort of Cala bona/Cala Millor is fantastic, such a relaxed vibe for families and couples.
The best thing about my stay was...The resort

Great Wee Find - So Friendly
Leah McBurney, Northern Ireland
I stayed at the Aparthotel Millor Garden & Spa for 10 days late June early July in a two bed annex apartment on an AI basis with my husband and two 16 year old children. Arrival We were met by the lovely Maria who made check-in a breeze – sorted out an additional room and safe key, provided us with all the info re meal times etc, resort map and then directed us to the annex which was across the road from the main hotel. I would like to thank Maria for a warm & friendly welcome to the start of our holiday. Apartment We were on the 5th floor (503) serviced by a lift. Upon entry the apartment was typically old style Spanish with a large living area with pine soft seating for 5, table and 5 chairs for dining flat screen TV, fully fitted kitchen including all utensils, electric kettle etc, large tiled bathroom with shower over bath, plenty of shelves, hot water, large mirror and sockets for hair dryer etc, 2 good size bedrooms both with built-in wardrobes with shelves and hangers, safe, wall mirrors, additional blankets and pillows. Air con was only in the living room but sufficient to flow into the bedrooms. Whilst the décor was 80s everything was spotless and the maids did a fantastic job cleaning the place, changing towels and bedlinens. View This was totally amazing!! From both bedrooms and the living room when you opened the double shutters you had a front line uninterrupted view of the sea and northerly coastline – FAB-U-LOUS and there was even better to come as when we opened the door in the living room it led to a massive roof terrace complete with loungers, table and chairs, clothes dryer with even more extensive views to include the mountains and the coastline. Perfect for an early morning coffee or a night cap. Food This hotel is not solely AI - I would say less than 50% therefore the selection of food at meal times may not be as extensive as some of the big AI hotels such as Club Mac but the quality was good and plentiful and there were always 2-3 types of both meat and fish as well as cold cuts fresh fruit, salads, chips, potatoes, nightly grill to order and plenty of choice for dessert. Wine, beer fruit juice and soft drinks were self-serve. There was no waiting for tables whether inside or out and again the dining room was spotless. In between meals you could also avail of various sandwiches, cakes ice-cream etc from the bar. Drinks This hotel operates a green policy re this and for 1 euro you are provided with a hard plastic glass (300ml) for you drinks (refundable at any time). These were only for using around the pool area for obvious reasons (proper glasses restaurant). This also means that the pool area is kept free from plastic cups rolling about the place as people are too lazy to put them in the bins! There is never a queue at the bar and large measures are provided – San Miquel is the draft beer. There is no 2 drink rule per person so if you have a larger family you are not spending half your night at the bar!! For younger children soft drinks, slush puppies and fruit juice are available. Please note that each time you take your plastic glass to the bar it is replaced with a clean one. Pool Area This is kept very clean with lots of sunbeds and brollies a kids pool and a larger pool and you can use inflatables in either of these. There is a covered seating area with free wifi and an adult’s only area. The pool area opens at 8:00am but during my stay beds were available most of the day. In the Annex there is also a kids and a larger pool. Both pool areas have life guards. There is no loud boom boom music so I found it very relaxing. Please not there is no AI bar in the Annex. Entertainment There is the usual stuff during the day – water aerobics, patong, various competitions etc but you are not tortured to join in. Night-time consists of the usual kids disco followed by bingo and most nights an outside act – flamenco, snakes & parrots, singers etc. I would say that this was the only weak point I found during my stay but maybe it was because it was early in the season. Staff The staff are truly the best asset of this hotel, they are professional, polite, helpful, friendly and make you feel really welcome. They work such long hours and have to deal with some very rude people – a special thank you to Tomas for finding my lost bag and Manuel who was always up for joke and a laugh behind the bar! In conclusion My whole family thoroughly enjoyed their stay at the Aparthotel Millor Garden & Spa and for families and older couples looking for a relaxing 3 star holiday I would highly recommend it.
The best thing about my stay was...The staff and the location

Friendly and welcoming hotel
Zoe, Oxford, UK
From the moment we checked in, we found the staff most welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and tidy and the breakfasts were plentiful and yummy. There was lots to choose from so definitely something to suit everyone for breakfast. We chose to stay just for breakfast although most people it seemed were all inclusive. The only reason we didn't choose this is for freedom of choosing where to eat and drink outside of the hotel. The pool and surrounding areas were clean and tidy. We stayed in the annex just over the road from the hotel which we didn't find to be a problem. We just walked back over to hotel for breakfast, sunbathing and swimming. Both are situated in a quiet area close to the beach and are a perfect place to relax and unwind. Both my sister, 16 year old daughter and I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.
The best thing about my stay was...Quiet location close to amenities and beach

Disappointed in some areas
We where in annex ( sol y mar ) don't get the same value for money as in main hotel , we where half board but had to walk across a little up the road to take our meals in main hotel Millor Garden.. The annex are quiet which is a plus but other than a small pool no facilities .. Pool bar always closed and if self catering people where complying no kettles or toasters in apartments , also a bit of a musty smell , but couldn't fault cleanliness , these annex need to be brought up to the standards of the main hotel , also if emergency arose in night no one to contact as no phones or reception in annex so would have to run to main hotel across the road , unless I knew I was in main hotel would think twice before booking here again .. Facilities in main hotel good as they have been regurbished
The best thing about my stay was...Near beach and entertainment

Just returned from our second stay at Millor Garden. Had another great holiday, close to the sea and amenities. Room and staff are excellent. Went self catering this time although did use the restaurant twice in the evening. Food was excellent plenty of choice. We are planning our third visit for same next year. Well worth a visit to the hotel and the area.
The best thing about my stay was...Friendly staff and atmosphere.
