I had doubts about booking this hotel as it seemed to have gone downhill since we last stayed 2 years ago due to latest reviews but in fact it was better. I had a renovated Fab Room which was clean and freshly painted with a huge bed. Staff where all friendly and helpful and location could not be better. Love the Flamingo and can't wait to go again, and will book with Alpha Rooms!

You do your research, you pay your money, you make your choice!
For the central strip area of Vegas the Flamingo bottom line cost was the most competitive. I therefore did not expect Bellagio refinery for half the costings!! The Flamingo done me a service in providing clean comfortable accomodation for my stay, and after all you are not in Vegas to spend your time in the Hotel and room! As with most things there were a couple of annoyances from my stay. It may sound a bit negative but I stress again that had I paid top rate then it may have impacted further. Future travellers please consider the following....1. The valet/parking/reception was frustrating. You queued for valet (when available, on returning one night was advised that valet was closed and that a lot 2 blocks away was the the nearest location to park my car, as the car park was full) Once through valet there was along queue for reception, there were many reception desks (probably 12+), but only 4 personal servicing them, so we queued again! Probably the most disappointing thing for my family stay was the 'breakfast included' banner in our stay. I'm sure it would have been in the small print but what this actually meant was an 18$ per person per day allowance in basically a coffee bar and an 8 table further cafe. Foolishly I was expecting to be taking breakfast in the hotel sit down restaurant area. With a small coffee being 5$, every day we ended up spending more than our allowance on breakfast for my family. It certainly was not as experienced in all other hotels stayed in, where iyou come to expect a self service buffet, where perhaps you may like a glass of orange juice and a coffee....the allowance here did not cover that! Having said that the bill on check out was not that horrendous, so when making your hotel choice, assume no breakfast and use your allowance for hot drinks, as there is no self making room facilities. Our stay was 'out of season' so the outdoor pool area was shut.....this had its positives though, as we could use the pool at the Paris hotel, which was excellent, with bath tub hot jacuzzi's (just had to walk there though!) All this said, I would stay at the Flamingo again......if when factoring in the above the price paid made it attractive!
The best thing about my stay was...Location, friendly front of house staff. (One member of valet staff excluded!)

A very good hotel. Extremely helpfull check-in/check-out staff. Great internal gardens and location. Only downside was breakfast. We booked inclusive of bed and breakfast but on arrival found breakfast had a free value limit of $9.00 per person and was of a buffet variety as opposed to a regular cooked breakfast.
The best thing about my stay was...A whole suite was allocated to us for the same price. We felt like someone special.
