6/10 Good

Great garden

This hotel had a great garden and was open 24 hours. The hotel staff were friendly and desk was open 24 hours. You left you key with them so you feel safe that you will not lose it out in town. The room was adequate with 3 single beds for me and my mates. Other reviews we read nearly put us off but we had no bad experiences. Bedding was changed daily, no mould patches or sound of creepy crawlies which some other reviews have moaned about. I will certainly be using it again as the price and location was great.

The best thing about my stay was...

Garden use 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Adequate base for exploring

This hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of the Leidseplein entertainment area as well as the Concertgebow and Rijksmuseum. It's also in teh main tramline (1) to the Central Station. Friendly and helpful staff and nice breakfast room. Room small but adequate and clean. The only downside was that my safe didn't work and the receptionist said that they were having problems with a lot of them. No alternative secure facility was offered.
