peaceful relaxing holiday
dave m, nottingham
Had a thoroughly relaxing holiday at these studios which are set a short distance(easily walked) from the main area of Alikanas. Although basic, the rooms are more than adequate and are cleaned regularly with towels and linen also changed on a regular basis. The pool area is kept spotless and there are more than enough sunbeds to cater for the number of guests. The owners are friendly and although their english is not too good, they go out of their way to ensure you are looked after. If you want peace and tranquility, then these studios will not disappoint. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
The best thing about my stay was...peaceful location

Wonderful holiday, glorious weather
Irene Whittaker, Chorley
Liked the apartments, cleaned regularly, would have liked towels changed more often - only every 3 days. Only 12 studio apartments which made it a small, friendly, reasonably quiet, no children place. Had problems with hot water on 2 days but when told the owners immediately sorted it out. Would definitely return. Noise from busy road but not too bad.

Basic even by Greek standards

The only good thing about this place is the views, but they come at a price. The hill to and from the 'resort' is a killer on a hot day. If you have young children, breathing or mobility problems then don't go. We went middle May and the pool was not cleaned until the 4th day of our stay. The towels and bedding were only cleaned once. The pool bar, TV room and snack bar were shut. The kitchen had hardly any facilities, a bread knife would have been nice. The beach is 2k away down a steep hill, if you go early season the only way back up is by foot. Go mid season then a taxi will charge you 10 euro back up. The buses into town go 8.00 and 8.15 am and will bring you back at 2.00pm. A taxi will cost you 25 euro each way, but it is well worth it as we got cabin fever mid week

room fine typical greek, comfortable and clean, only downside bathroom very small, not suitable for disabled traveller, but not all rooms have small bathroom. just luck what you get. Do not stay here if you want to do any cooking, not enough kitchen equipment. we had only one glass and one deep pan, okay to make a cup of tea but thats all. gardens and pool area lovely were clean and tidy. owner speaks no english at all, very hard to communicate.
The best thing about my stay was...pool.

Lovely Pool Area.
DALE DYSON, Sheffield
We had 11 nights in June 2009 staying at the Eleni Studios. Apartments clean and tidy - plenty of room for 2 people, limited cooking facilities - electric kettle. Pool area was lovely, very quiet, lovely views - Eleni and husband do not speak much English - but they try to understand - very nice people - Bar area lovely. Wine 1.50 a glass, 2.00 for Mythos, amstel. Did not to venture far during the day. nearest supermaket - 2 minute walk - resort 5 minute walk, beach probably 10 minute walk. A ride in Horse and carriage is anything from 7 euro to 10 euro. Met some lovely people who go to the resort every year. Would definetly use the apartments again. Lovely Holiday.
