Total Lack of Everything
Having read some reviews a few days before leaving the UK, we took everything except the 'kitchen sink' with us. Thank goodness. The kitchenette was very basic. Found a socket to plug the kettle in and it fell out of the wall. Owners speak little English, although they understand much more. Had to ask Husband each day to turn the WIFI on and as soon as they left, he turned it off. There are other apartments around with a pool that are much better than this place. The owners let down the tourist business in Corfu.
The best thing about my stay was...Because the place was so ugh! we talked a lot with other guests.

This place is an absolute disgrace. Arrived at 1:30 am with no reception from the owners , eventually found a room with a key and had to take it. Sun beds are not allowed to be used unless you buy something from the shop which is extremely OVERPRICED. Owners are money grabbers and refuse to give clean towels / toilet paper. All families that we spoke to were extremely unhappy , it is NOT 400m from the beach it is approx. 1k - a 12 minute walk. Not much in the village either. Owner accused us of stealing a towel when we left and robbed a handbag full of makeup. She pretends she can't speak English and it is all completely fake!! No contact number for the apartments or anything it is completely dodgey! Dead insects on the floor upon arrival and rooms aren't 100% clean as the owner cleans them all herself. Paid extra for the room on last day as we had a late check out , we told her it would be 9 or after when we left and she told it was okay. She came in to our rooms at 8 and started cleaning , rooting and looking in our fridge. Got extremely angry when she accused us of stealing the towel and so she barged in and totally changed moods. Bed sheets were never changed. We caught the two owners looking through the local bins for things to take to serve in the shop , it's an absolute disgrace. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF ITS THE LAST THING YOU DO!!
The best thing about my stay was...Nothing it's a disgrace!!!!

Man can reach the beach in 15 min walk on road without pavement. Pool is clean. Rooms are large and equipped with basics: kettle, cutlery, stove (electric), plates, cups. Beds are 7/10. Room cleaning every 2 days. No mop in room unfortunately. Wifi rarely working. Balustrade on second floor does not feel safe.
The best thing about my stay was...peace

good location appartments very very poor
mr mrs bond, york
On a arrival reception was none existent our room was not available we had to make do with a down graded room which was discusting for two day we then moved to the room which we had booked and paid for and they was no apology or no recompense . The cleanness was minimalist and the sanitation was the worst I have ever seen in a apartment. The flushing system for the toilets was lacking in presure and volume as the waste would not flush away. We had to resort to fill buckets off water to facilitate to flush the waste away. Then on arrival at home it was evident that a item off clothing was missing from my wifes suitcase . I booked this accommodation as a 3 star hotel I would only class it as a one . Al as I can say is that im a very regular traveler to the greek island and the resort is beautiful but the accommodation is a filth pit .please avoid .
The best thing about my stay was...leaving

Didnt have a room for us when we arrived 4 of us had to stay in 2 rooms...
stayed in August 2013 with my partner and 2 children. On arrival we were told they didn't have a room for us! my partner exploded at 'George' and the kids cried... nice start. Eventually we got split into 2 rooms for the night to be given the room we paid for the next day, My partner spoke to the tour operator and got the air con for free as some kind of compensation even though George the owner didn't want to he was over ruled. The no room on arrival issue was not exclusive to us, one couple got offered to stay with Georges friend instead??? do be careful of the electric rings and kettles they are likely to give you a shock also not exclusive to us, one family had a baby and got no cot... not very clean apparently she cleans the floor with your shampoo... sheets didn't get changed she took the sheets from the room on the first night to our new room! wasn't all bad the pool was nice and plenty of sunbeds. The beach is a fair 20 min walk we went high season and it wasn't busy anywhere. Don't rely on using cash cards or travel money cards!
The best thing about my stay was...the sun!

Awful Awful Awful
Paul, High Wycombe
What a horrid place!! We stayed for 10 nights and did not receive clean towels or sheets once!! The bathrooms were tiny and grotty complete with a messy toilet brush! The beds were infested and grubby. No replacement toilet paper was provided so we had to buy our own. The floors were not cleaned once during our stay and the cleaners only entered the rooms every other day to make the beds. The grasp of English was poor and they could not understand my request to assist with sorting our transfer back to the airport. While very cheap it is in no way cheerful. I would never return there and would never recommend it! Horrid!!!
The best thing about my stay was...Leaving the apartment everyday!!

glad to go home...
we arrived full of optimism but were quickly facing up to the fact our room was a 'bit of a dive'..we normally stay self-catering and are far from fussy as long as apartments are clean and fairly well equipped..this room however was far from that.It would of been impossible to cook on those two tiny rings plus the fact the socket looked very dangerous, the cooking utensils were no where near what was adequate and when i asked the owner to borrow a knife to cut a large watermelon he refused so i had to use the 'penknife' provided. The flush was pathetic and we had to use the one saucepan we had to fill and create our own flush !The sheets when they changed them were grubby looking and after asking for clean towels we were given two beach towels which looked liked they had been left and our two teenagers who had their own room were given hand towels,i will say that the pool was very good and the generall garden area, but i would NEVER stay here again !
The best thing about my stay was...going home...

best thing was air con worked
we were disapointed on our arrival as we thought we were up the road at the much nicer eleanor, and we didn't seem to be expected! we were shown our appartment, didn't seem very clean and decor leaves a lot to be desired, very poorly equiped and very very tired and scruffy. the owner needed to to learn to be a lot more inviting also a bit of english would help when your customers seemed to be totally british. what ever you do don't eat in the bar area the food is very greasy and quiet gross. the was cleaned each day and the apartments are in a lovely quiet setting but you do really need transport as only 2 buses a day and its quiet a trek to get any where, this business could be a gold mine in the right hands and a bit more energy more put in to the up keep.
The best thing about my stay was...air con and the grounds and setting

Basic but great location Aug 2011
S Iliffe, Brighton
Elena apartments are very basic but for myself and friend, this was not a problem, as we were rarely in the apartment. Do not confuse with Eleanor Apt and Studios. Beds were comfy, shower is hand held, great balcony view - we were upstairs. There are only approx 30 apartments on 2 levels. The pool area and gardens were very well maintained and generally there were lots of spare beds. Whilst we were there, the majority of people were either older couples or families with teenagers. The apartments are set down a dirt track off the main road, approx 5 mins to the nearest shop and 10 to the main strip and beach. But for 20 euros hire a quad bike from George ( take your driving licence ) and explore the island and great hidden beaches - Gardeno being our fave ! St Georges Beach South is a quiet resort with great restaurants supplying yummy Greek dishes or if you prefer, pizza and pasta can be found. The average price for a Greek main meal= 7.50e, starters approx 3e, but we found that a main was ample. Overall a great place.
The best thing about my stay was...Quiet, relaxing, peaceful

Typical basic Corfu accomodation. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pool area lovely, rooms nice maybe a bit tired. A good 10-15 minute walk from main restaurants and beach areas, don't let this put u off it's a nice walk.
The best thing about my stay was...Panorama and seagulls restaurants, excellent food and romantic surroundings
