Benidorm Hotels & Benidorm Apartments
Benidorm hotels range from the high end to simple and affordable. You can crank up the budget to stay in plush hacienda-style mansions with terracotta-roofed villas and panoramic infinity pools, overlooking the surrounding sierras. Or, you can go in search of cheap hotels in Benidorm and opt for something a little more rustic: a beachside aparthotel with walking access to the sands; a local flat rental with bunkbeds for the whole family. And that’s not even mentioning the wealth of rustic eco lodges to be found in the Valencian hills, just a little further away from the party-mad centre. The extensive range of hotels in Benidorm will leave you spoilt for choice and you can choose your accommodation that caters to your taste and budget.
All About Benidorm
Just a mention of the name Benidorm is usually enough to set the mind going with thoughts of the shimmering yellow beaches of the Costa Blanca, long days of Spanish sun, long nights of wild partying and karaoke, or wholesome family adventuring in the shadow of the Valencian hills. Believe it or not, this now-booming medley of high-rise hotels and skyscrapers was once just a small, sleepy Spanish fishing village. Then came the redevelopments of the 1960s, converting its narrow bay on the Med into a bona fide resort hub, dotted with palm-spotted hotels in Benidorm and soaring buildings packed with cheap accommodation in Benidorm. Hotels in Benidorm old town are also a good option if you are looking for somewhere slightly more traditional.
Where to stay in Benidorm
The maze of narrow lanes and tower-shaded streets that is the Benidorm Old Town is now the hotel hub of the city. It’s packed to the brim with local guesthouses and family friendly stays, and has its fair share of affordable Benidorm apartments to boot. Meanwhile, there are other Benidorm Spain hotels on offer in the blocks to the west of the Old Town, where the shores of Costa Blanca converge on sleepless party bars and quayside seafood joints. Then comes the slightly quieter area of Poniente in the west, which has bargain resorts with big suites overlooking the beach – perfect if you’re trying to get a cheap hotels and apartments in Benidorm for the whole family.
Top things to see and do on your Benidorm holiday
Benidorm has shouldered its way to the top of the holidaying scene on Spain’s Costa Blanca with a line-up of attractions for the whole family. You can get the adrenaline-pumping with the twisting slides and sloshing wave pools of the Aqualandia water park, or you can encounter bottlenose dolphins in the wild. Chilled sessions on the beaches of Playa de Levante and Poniente are also a popular thing to do here, and so are long nights of partying in the karaoke joints along the marina. Or you could choose your Benidorm hotel close to the beach to enjoy the stunning sea views and easy access to the lively bars and cafes.
Nightlife in Benidorm
The so-called Square is the undisputed epicentre of nightlife in Benidorm. Sat at the intersection of Calle Girona and Avenue de Mallorca, this pulsing, sleepless clutch of wild bars and cocktail joints, raucous Latin cantinas and English pubs, rarely fails to get the hedonism flowing. It’s open virtually all night long in the summer season and comes packed with excellent drinks deals for patrons on the path towards inebriation under the Spanish stars. Of course, Benidorm also has something of a more refined side, which pops up with the chic yachting clubs along the marina, or with the family restaurants in Poniente bay. Many hotels in Benidorm also feature nightclubs and pubs so that you can enjoy the vibrant nightlife of the resort without needing to step out.
What to Eat in Benidorm
While Benidorm might not be the best place to come for authentic Spanish tapas, it’s certainly perfect if you prefer your gastronomy of the international sort. The heart of the city, from the Old Town to the strips of Levante, is packed too, bustling with fast food outlets and kebab-touting holes in the wall. You can taste your way through Tex-Mex and tacos, sizzling American BBQ and Italian pizzas. Or, you can settle in one of the many expat pubs for a selection of English cuisine – think Sunday roasts, fried breakfasts and more.
Shopping in Benidorm
After bagging those bargain cheap hotels in Benidorm, you should have plenty of euros left to indulge in the shopping strips of the Old Town area. Start in bustling Avenida Martinez Alejos, where shoe emporiums, tailors, fashion sellers and more all crowd the arcades before spilling out onto the wide flagstones of Plaza Mayor. The large shopping mall at La Marina has even more in the way of branded boutiques, while Avenida Uno on Calle Gambo is the place to go if you’re after chichi labels and big designer brands.
The Price of Things in Benidorm
Thanks to the abundance of cheap flights and hotels in Benidorm, this part of the Costa Blanca is well-primed for low cost holidays. Benidorm is served by oodles of budget airlines that fly in and out of nearby Alicante, where it’s possible to get return connections from London for as little as € 60. When it comes to accommodation, you can expect to bag some cheap hotels and apartments in Benidorm in the Old Town region or close to the beach for around just € 55 a night, while eating out won’t break the bank either – think in the region of € 12 per head for a meal and € 2.5 for a large beer (even less during happy hour).

NEW YEAR IN BENIDORM
WILL & KAREN, United Kingdom
Check it out before you go. I say this because the Hotel / apartments are at the back of Benidorm up a very long steep hill. There is a courtesy bus running every 15 mins but you are not guaranteed to get on it unless you wait in the que. The Don Jorge is apartments only and if you want to eat or do anything else its next door at THE PALM BEACH. 36 steps up to the doors at the Jorge then the choice of 4 lifts, one of them being open glass so not for the faint hearted, great if your ok with heights, horrible if your not. We were on the 17th floor and I never went on the balcony!!! The apartment was great, clean tidy and very well equipped. We walked down into town every night and it takes its toll on your calves. Taxi back is 6.50 Euros. Staff and security very friendly and helpful. The food in the Palm Beach was good, 9 Euros for a breakfast buffet and 15 Euros for dinner buffet. Loads of good cheap food in town though. This would and probably is be good for hens and stags in the summer, or maybe not, as they would be flying over the balconies !!!
The best thing about my stay was...Good clean rooms well equipped Good room service TV OK Price OK Friendlyness

Don Jorge Apartments

Value for money. Could not fault the room & layout. Apartment was clean & room service was excellent- clean towels & room cleaned on a daily basis. Do not listen to all the trip advisor moaners. At the end of the day you pay for what you get. For the money you couldn’t expect more. The views from the balcony over looking Benidorm are a pleasure. I will definitely stay there again. I payed a lot more & had a lot worst than these apartments! The hill everyone barks on about is nothing, as there is a shuttle service which runs from the Palm Beach hotel next door every 15 mins, which is FREE! What more do you want?
The best thing about my stay was...Views & room service

Ideal except for the hill
Rooms very good able to use the facilities next door which were very good at the palm beach hotel there's a free shuttle into town until 7pm the balcony large there's almost 40 floors but we we're lucky to have a 2nd floor room thought it was going to be noisy but apart from a bit of rowdiness by the pool one day it was fine and we're in our 50s overall very good
The best thing about my stay was...Levis showboating and their act Stella artois

Had a really good stay here , really pleasantly surprised at how clean and spacious the apartment was .. had everything you needed spotlessly clean, the balcony was superbly spacious .. couldn’t really fault anything .. presumably can be noisy in peek season as lots of stags and hens there , although I didn’t experience any problem
The best thing about my stay was...I loved the spaciousness and cleanliness of the apartment , and the use of the hotel Pool was a bonus

A Bit of a climb uphill but great views
Dougie Anderson, Falkirk, Scotland
This is the second time we have visited these apartments and found them to be good, clean apartments with a full kitchen and a great balcony with fantastic views over Benidorm. There is no reception at the apartments you have to check in at the Palm Beach hotel next door which offers free Wi-Fi but you cant get a signal in the apartment unless you go out on the balcony. Its a bit of a climb uphill to these apartments but the palm beach hotel offers a free shuttle during the day and if you go downtown at night just get a taxi back up.
The best thing about my stay was...Getting away from the cold weather in Scotland.

Nightmare from beginning to end, pay extra, stay elsewhere
We had stayed here years ago so decided give it a try again. We knew about heart attack hill already, but a taxi only costs 4€ so this didn't bother us. But as other people have stated, I would not recommend this for families or the elderly. On arrival we went to the next hotel to check in, there was my son wife and daughter, when we went to check in, they got me give them the €150 deposit, give me a deposit receipt, and then told me the room was not ready for an hour, we were tired but we wanted to get something eat, we came back to check in two and a half hours later, it was red hot and we just wanted get in or room, we were served by a female Spanish receptionist who said the room was not ready and said to me wait one moment Thirty minutes later!! After I watch her completely ignore me and hand about seven other parties their keys, I called the original make receptionist and asked what was going on and I had worked over three hours for my keys, he got on radio and then give me a key, of we went to the flat, the next nightmare is the lifts we were on 11th floor, you can wait up to twenty minutes to get one, we got to room opened the door, and it looked as though it had received a quick clean, the room was in serious need of refurbishment, but we were to tired by now, there was two single beds and a pull down warn out sofa, , it was already all pulled down and had a sheet on, I pulled the sheet of to look at mattress and I could not believe my eyes, it was covered in pee stains, sick stains amongst others, , the air conditioning was the wrist I have ever known, there is no safe in the room, we could not sleep at night the room was that hot, when the cleaner passed we insisted on need protectors to be put on signal beds which she did and showed her the sofa mattress which had bed bugs, she said she did not have protectors for the sofa and it couldn't be changed. The staff and cleaners and security were as unhelpful and miserable as can be, we honestly were made to feel as though they didn't want English people there as they were fine with the Spanish. I could go on more but I don't think these apartments deserve any more of my time with a review. I seriously recommend you pay extra and stay somewhere where they actually want your business and have good hygiene, I came back with 7 bites from the bed dog, absolutely the Worst apartments ever . Never again
The best thing about my stay was...Leaving these apartment's
