Stayed 2/9/2016 in die Port Van Cleve. We loved it no faults at all, staff were excellent ,very friendly, hotel was spotless. The location was excellent 5 mins walk from train station & 5 mins walk from Dam square. this hotel is dead centre in the city with everything within walking distance honestly I always taxi everywhere but I did not get one taxi over the weekend. To sum up the hotel is perfect for a break away it is expensive but you get what you pay for. I would recommend this hotel to everyone

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL IN CENTRE OF AMSTERDAM
Anne Boon, Dublin Ireland
Stayed in the Die Port Van Cleve for 2 nights in January. Hotel is excellent. Rooms are very clean and very modern. They are situated in the centre of Amsterdam just off Dam Square. Staff are very nice and nothing is too much to ask them. The hotel is easy to find if you are getting the train from the Airport. You get off at Central Station which is 3 stops from the airport. Walk straight toward Dam Square staying to the right then take a left and the hotel is straight ahead across the road. Amsterdam is a beautiful city and Die Port Van Cleve is an excellent base to explore the city.

We stayed here from 8-10th January. It is a fantastic location, 5 mins walk from Amsterdam Central Station, right on Dam Square. We ventured to restaurants away from the main square, all walking distance to the hotel and in really nice areas. Breakfast was really good. Rooms were small and it often felt that the people in the room next door were in the same room as the walls were paper thin! Service in reception was very good and pleasant

Super birthday weekend in Amsterdam
Mrs T, Southampton
Our room was 511. Can't fault it. Staff were really helpful, told them it was my birthday and got a glass of wine each to celebrate. We had bed and breakfast and food and service in the Maximillion room was superb. Position of the hotel couldn't have been more central and everything was in easy reach. Loved our stay, thank you.
