I just stayed at compostela beach club, a week self catering. For the price it was wonderful. It was a great base for our holiday nothing fancy, clean spacious apartment, no insects and everything needed to make a couple of simple meals in the kitchen. Nice shower, comfortable beds, helpful staff. Didn't have all inclusive so can't comment on food/drinks there.
The best thing about my stay was...private terrace with a couple of sun beds, a real sun trap in the afternoon/evening

A good standard hotel
Just back from a week at the Compestela beach club golf, found this hotel to be pretty decent, very friendly and helpful staff, well equipped apartment, ideal for self catering, full cooker, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster,TV for free with Bbc and ITV,pool area quite good plenty of sun beds, pool quite shallow and not for the serious swimmer, food at the snack bar ok didn't avail of evening or breakfast meals although a lot of guests seemed to be all inclusive this was available for 26 euro per person per day if u needed it.The hotel is situated about a ten minute walk to Los cristianos and about 15 mins along the promenade to Las Americas with playa las vistas about ten mins away. The only dissapointment for us was we got a room facing the road with a building site opposite , if returning would look for a room facing the pool or inside of the complex.
The best thing about my stay was...Los cristianos

Do not book this place it's a dump
Carol b, Dublin
It was filthy, floors never swept, worktops never cleaned by cleaners. We had to get ant traps, a sweeping brush and general cleaning stuff just to keep some of the ants away. The sheets were filthy. When we walked into the apt there was a smell of urine!!!! There was clean towels every day and that was the only good thing about this place. Would not recommend it to a dog never mind a family

A good base for the area
There seems to be 3 Compostela Beach Hotels.Ours was Compostela Beach Golf 2.The hotel reception was very small and ordinary but when we got to our apartment we were pleased. It was a one bedroomed apartment ,very spacious and with full sized cooker ,fridge and freezer in the separate kitchen room. The bathroom was large and included a bidet. We were self catering. We found it fairly easy to walk down into Los Cristianos or walk along Playa de las Americas all the way to Torviscas and Fanabe.Quite a bit of walking ,that we liked ,being out all day ,Lots of bars, restaurants ,very competative. We easily found a pint of beer for 1euro and breakfasts for as little as 2.95e +.The reception staff spoke English and were helpful. The apartment was groung floor with a small patio and garden that we liked to eat breakfast on.Entertainment was fairly varied ,we liked the various animal shows as they were good and short and then we set off for our evening out .I used the small library near reception to collect and deposit various newspapers and mags (+bks) for free.We enjoyed this apartment but didn't buy any meals or drinks from the bar as it seemed expensive and the all inclusive buffet ( that we usually go for ) was uninspiring. For families with pushchairs or older people that may have some walking problems ,this hotel may not suit although taxis are nearby. We hired a car for 5 days and visited Los Gigantis ,Alcala ( saw big turtles in the sea!)Watch out for restaurants/bars that add tax on after you have read the menu and worked out what you thought the bill WAS going to be.Maid service didnt include Wed or Sun but we weren't bothered by that.We had a good fortnight.
The best thing about my stay was...Lots of places to walk to .

Very Poor service, accommodation and facilities
Paul Argyle, Bury
We arrived at 5pm and the room wasn't ready for over an hour. The room was run down, no air conditioning and swarming with bugs. The patio door wouldn't open and the window screens and roller shutters were broken. The pation was strewn with litter. The food was awful. The shop was shut completely for 3 days.
The best thing about my stay was...Leaving

A group of 7 of us agred between 16-26 here for a week in July. After reading some reviews i wasnt sure what to expect but on arrival the staff were very pleasant welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very spacious and cleaned every day with fresh towels. The pool is big enuf but has no deep end.We didnt eat in the hotel but the food didnt look the best so would recommeend to eat out.The shops clubs and pubs are 10-15 minute walk away. But 5 mins in taxi which costs 4-5 euro however be careful as the taxi drivers tend to tip themselves and get confused with which compostela your goin to as there is three.Overall my stay here was great, the weather was overcast which was disappointin but would return to this hotel in future.
The best thing about my stay was...Nightlife

another great stay at this hotel
this is the third stay in this hotel going back again in september for golf, found the best prices through alpha rooms. ideally located hotel within walking distance of the lively nightlife yet far enough away to enjoy the quieter days. the hotel seems to be changing over the last 3 years and more younger groups of lads/girls are staying at this "family friendly hotel" which did cause some friction due to loud noise in the early hours with some of the families with young children. all in all though a fantastic hotel, reasonalbe choice of food on the all inclusive package, (this seems to be the only hotel i don't suffer due to food), all hotel services are centrally located and close to the pool. rooms are very well equiped with coffee machine, kettle, toaster, full kitchen, lots of wardrobe/draw/cupboard space, dining area, lounge area, garden. room cleaned everyday to a good standard, towels and bed linen changed every day. i would recommend it to anyone going to tenerife
The best thing about my stay was...the staff really appreciate you being there unlike in some other hotels
