the resort is very clean, apartments spacious and nice balcony, with table chairs and sun loungers, we had a lovely sea view. only draw back was food was very much the same every day. rooms could have done with a chest of drawers for keeping bits and pieces in, kitchen was well equipped. and apartments are spacious. friendly staff.
The best thing about my stay was...weather and cleanliness

Not a 4. Star hotel
Unhappy traveler , Birmingham
Food was hit and miss all inclusive did not include cocktails you had to pay 1euro deposit on plastic cup if you wanted coffee it was served in plastic cup . Also you couldn’t get near the pool all the sun beds were reserved this hotel is not suitable for mature couples more family friendly would not return to Cala D’or
The best thing about my stay was...The one bedroom apartment was in a good position on the ground floor

This is our 4th time in the space of 4 years coming back to club Martha's and every year has been a great experience. Most the team make you feel so at home and do everything they possibley can to fit your needs. There's a woman with short blond hair that I would like to put out there that she's made our time here so great and helped us with many things, amazing woman! The night time staff are great there so welcoming and love to have a laugh, although I can say I'm disappointed with the I think training staff (yellow top) there was this one girl in particular Spanish girl with long brown hair, who not only got our simple order wrong she then began to roll her eyes back, slumping her body around and forgetting all about 2 drinks.... it's a milkshake not a magic trick. But someone else did take over and said sorry. The rooms are great and maids come often wich is handy. The beach is a very short walk and is also amazing ! The fish are great to see and a good activity for all ! I would recommend this to every one ! And if your wanting some fun sparkles is the place to be! Nice bar with karaoke (kids can join to) and comes with a play area for them at the side so you can enojoy and terns into a club at half 12. Wouldn't recommend there wifi...
The best thing about my stay was...The way most the staff made us feel at home.

Club Martha's Cala Egos the Good and the bad
Alan, Market Drayton, Shropshire
Club Martha's is not a bad destination for a holiday in the Cala D'Or area, its not the best but its adequate. We stayed from 26th September to 04th October 2016 and had requested a quiet room on a high floor which was accommodated perfectly room 1309, upgraded from studio to one bedroomed apartment. Which was a good size, fairly modern and clean with quite comfortable beds. It had a very good sized balcony with table 4 chairs and 2 sunbeds. Fortunately for us the weather was so good it was unbearably hot to sit on the balcony in the daytime but we had some pleasant evenings out there. Generally speaking it led to a very good holiday, we did not use any of the bars or cafe/restaurants on site or bother with the entertainment, which was on an outdoor stage we could hear from our balcony (it did not go on too late so no noise issue) what we heard sounded typically amateurish. definitely not our cup of tea. Maid service was an issue that grinded with us the apartment was cleaned to a reasonable standard initially but not that fresh newly cleaned smell of detergent of any sort after that we were cleaned and towels changed 3 times but once the day after arrival and once the day before departure which we could have managed without and left us with a lack of fresh towels mainly inbetween which we did not like. There were plenty of implements for cooking pots pans etc but the hob was so poor it was hard to cook anything on it just didn't get hot enough and the microwave grill was not any better in this regard. Its a fairly big complex the pools are nice and the gardens well tended but seems to lack space for lounging around the pools for its size. We felt quite squeezed when we gave it a go, again not our cup of tea. We had car hire and went to different beaches each day so this wasn't a major downer for us but could have been had we not had that option. We know the area quite well and although it was our first time in Cala Egos we liked it, its quite a small resort and a bit of a walk into Cala D'Or centre but it had most of what we like and we also like a walk too. I would definitely stay in Cala Egos again. There were two smallish beaches without walking miles Es Forti and Cala Egos I found the latter very good for snorkeling with lots and lots of fish of a wide variety. I also found the lack of free wifi at Martha's quite annoying it was stupidly expensive to take up so had to rely on the bars and restaurants in the resort to catch up on life and what was going on in the world. So personally would probably choose somewhere different in future but I'm by no means slating Martha's you can have a good holiday there, there are things they could do to make it better and things like lack space they're stuck with.
The best thing about my stay was...location, quite peaceful but with everything you need as a middle aged couple.

Great resort but little things let it down!
Great family hotel. Stayed with husband and 2 kids - 3 year old and 1 year old. Arrived at 2am so all very tired and just wanting to get to bed. Had stupidly forgot to print acclamation voucher off. Couldn't get in emails as wifi so poor but receptionist insured I show it to her there and then. After 15 minutes or trying eventually she said we could show it in the morning. Was then told the cot we had requested would be at a charge per day! Have never had this in any hotel so was quite surprised! A baby needs a cot! Total scam! The rooms are a really good size, beds comfy and clean however there was a strange musty smell coming from the aircinditioning which was a bit off putting, could do with new filters maybe? 2 pool areas which are great for families and although sinners are locked up until 9am has no problem getting beds/ space by the pool. Great little kids club and good entertainment for the family of an evening. Just around the corner from lots of bars and restaurants and a lovely little Bach 5 minute walk away. All in all would stay again but just be prepared for the extra charges and don't forget accommodation voucher!

A good base for Mallorca with everything you need
Family Guy, UK-
This hotel is quite large with many types of rooms ranging from pretty basic self catering apartments to quite modern one bedroom apartments as shown on their website with decent sofa beds that teenagers will put up with quite happily - which I think are reserved for those on half board or full board which we were on. So make sure you have got what you paid for. The food on offer is pretty good and I like food. There is also a reasonable amount of variety. Breakfast is pretty busy with dinner and lunch less so and a bit less hectic. I assume this is because most people go for the BB option. The Staff are really helpful and so the various problems that usually arise on holiday were all resolved in a satisfactory way so don't be shy of raising any issues with reception they do want you to have a good stay and this is a major for a hotel plus in my view. Drinks are usual bar prices in the area. Order from bar or waiter but not both as this seems to cause confusion. You will have to buy drinks at dinner unless you are on FB. Entertainment is pretty dreadful. Its an in-house entertainment group rather than a touring group but they put their heart into it and mean well. If your kids are young however they will probably enjoy all the activities on offer and like the early shows. If you have teenagers they will probably prefer the local bars and shops in the evening. I don't go to Mallorca for the hotel entertainment however so this is not really an issue. The pools are nice and large which is needed and they are clean. Very much the star attraction for my 10 year old lad. Older daughter preferred the beach (more on this later). The sun loungers are reserved by the Dutch in this case as the area is popular with their tour operators and businesses. Expect to wait from 8:30 for 9:00am unlocking ceremony if you want one. They are reserved by towels all day even if empty. Personally I just drop my towels on the grass on the way to breakfast as people will put the loungers on the best grass spots as well. I don't want to bake myself all day so I am not bothered if I have a sun lounger. Apartments come with a balcony and sun loungers anyway. Local beaches vary - there are a couple in walking distance which are nice and some are a half hour drive or so which are wonderful. Get a map and try them all. They are all different which it the great thing about Mallorca. Keep in mind however this is very much a family hotel - not a hotel to take a date or honeymoon. Also take car when hiring a car - discounters will scalp your credit card, I cancelled mine when I looked at T&C and went with Record. More expensive but no worries. I feel you can't do Mallorca without a car to see Palma and all the beaches and caves. However some seen happy to relax in front of the Pool for a week or two.

Great location.....but prepare to camp out for sunbeds!!
Mark , Newcastle upon Tyne
Just returned from a 12 night stay - 2 families with teenagers and an 8 year old. Good location, clean and all staff were spot on. Breakfast - exactly what you want and no battle for croissants unlike other hotels we've stayed at. Dinner was fine - oriental and mallorcan nights breaking things up and the dining room never had a feel of being a 'canteen'. Rooms we're ideal - a large balcony with table, chairs, two sunbeds and you can see why...... Queues starting before 8am to secure sunbeds - not just 1 or 2 but 7 and 8 at a time for them to often go unused for hours. The hotel even have signs saying they shouldn't be reserved but it's not enforced. Close to a small beach (with beach bar) and only a few hundred metres on is a path that takes you to the marina where you'll encounter Chills - a small tapas bar/restaurant - well worth a look for the tapas.

Great pools and food
Kate, United Kingdom
Really pleased with our stay. Two great pools with gardens and a very good bar/restaurant. We were really pleased with the food and unlimited sushi on a Thursday was a massive bonus. We liked the rocky coves and small beaches. There are lots of beaches to explore and lots of chances for cliff jumping - good for teenage boys. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
