Overview

Blue Princess Beach Hotel & Suites is set directly on the beach, overlooking a small secluded bay at the quiet resort of Liapades, 1.2 km from Paleokastritsa. Liapades is one of the oldest and prettiest villages in Corfu and is perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The Bay of Liapades is situated on the northwest coast of Corfu and is a very secluded area, surrounded by olive and fruit trees, with stunning sea views. The village offers a small selection of traditional tavernas and bars. Nearby Paleokastritsa is within walking distance and is said to be one of the most scenic spots in the whole of Europe. Guests may visit the famous whitewashed monastery or treat themselves to the fresh lobster for which the area is renowned. The crystal clear waters at both Liapades and Paleokastritsa are perfect for swimming and watersports.

Please Note: That due to renovation taking place the annex rooms of this hotel will no longer exist for 2018.

Disgusting Food with excellent Views what a shame !

We were really looking forward to our holiday of our dreams. Corfu offers a wide range of hotels and accommodation, so looking for the right place was quite hard. Eventually we saw Elly Beach and they offer a lots a "Deluxe Bungalow with Sea Views" @£1200.00 for 2 weeks Half board. We decide that this was for us and seamed perfect for our Holiday. On our arrival to the Hotel reception we were taken to the "Bungalow" which housed 2 beds upstairs and 2 downstairs !! and by the way there was nothing deluxe about it, very basic and dated the shower was a joke the water came out sideways !! . having made my complaint the next morning about the so called Bungalow and the state of the place - All i was told was that there was nothing that they could do,as far as they were concerned it was a bungalow and it was very good place !! Anyway after getting nowhere with my complaint we decided to go for our intended Breakfast !! Oh my god ! it was a awful it was a buffet style breakfast. The whole food was covered in Wasps and flies ! and it looked disgusting , it wasn't even hot ! . We just couldn't eat any of it. Evening Dinner was the same im sorry to say. For the 2 weeks we were ate elsewhere. O On the bright side the view from our Bungalow was amazing, the Staff were helpful and the swimming pool cleaned every day. Please also note the this is not for people who do not like walking up a 1.5 hill to the apartments !!

The best thing about my stay was...

Stunning Views

REDICULOUSLY AWEFUL!!!!

Ill provide a Quick summary so that you all know what to expect 1) swimming pool is Dark green with Sludge, There was even a deck chair discovered in there 4 days later. 2) No TV, Hair Dryer, Air Con (broken), Pretty Much Just a bed and a toilet. 3) Hot water only worked some of the time. 4) Wasps infested restaurant, Found dead wasps in my food on the table, Absolutely everywhere. 5) The food is aweful, Litterally Poured out a can and there you go, Minimal cost as far as hotel management goes 6) hotel managers not willing to help 7) DO NOT STAY HERE, only thing that was good was the view and the car hire out of that hotel

The best thing about my stay was...

Going Home!!!!!!

Beautiful environment

View is fantastic, but 4 star is a "greek" 4 star... Food is a little bit unexciting, staff is medium. Terrace of the restaurant is a wonderful place, but there is a problem: plenty of wasps!! I have not seen in my life such a big size of wasps in one place! Hotel buildings are on a hillslope, in a big area, you have to go up and down all day, but worths to do it! Panorama is fantastic almost everywhere.

Beautiful setting, surroundings, views... shame about the hotel. Please read!!

This hotel is in, by far, the best location in the east of the island. not as touristy as palokastrita and in unspoilt surroundings. great for walks down to neighbouring beaches such as romania etc. the hotel was the only let down; we booked with two friends who booked identical accommodation, however they had no end of trouble over the week changing rooms over 3 times in a week. The staff are moody at times and usually unhelpful. (as an example the window in our room was cracked, I asked for someone to come and tape it up twice and was asked to come back in 30 minutes and ask again; I ended up taking tape from reception and doing it myself.) for any issue at reception you must ask at least twice and come back in 30 minutes, the toilets are poor, hot water is on and off due to high usage at certain times, no sat TV as advertised, housekeeping is poor and the sheets were not changed nor were there any clean towels delivered in the week we stayed there (until we asked; however reception told us they had none and we had to ask housekeeping the next morning) the food is very poor mini hotdog sausages, boiled eggs and leftover potatoes from the night before for breakfast, the al-la-carte is also extremely expencive when compared with taverners in the local area. I would reccommend eating instead at 'The Cricketers' - which is ok for food and 'Michales Taverna' which is fantastic for clasic greece cuisine and buying beer from the local shop which is £1.20 euro compared with £4.50 euro from the bar; local taxi service from 'safety car' is far cheaper and better than hotel taxis which they call in from the capital and overcharge due to this fact. This hotel with all of its faults is saved by the amazing views and surrounding areas. The locals are very friendly and helpful and I would reccommend visiting Liapades centre; although small has a beautiful church and amazing views. Overall we had a great holiday; amazing beaches, caves, unspoilt surroundings, not too many tourists, great swimming, perfect location of the hotel and overall a beautiful place to visit; however the only complaint would be that this hotel by british standards would barely be 2*and the service and food really stinks.

good budget hotel

We spent 5 days in Elly beach hotel and we had great time. I'll give 3* for the hotel. Location is perfect ,just on the beach with beautiful view, but they should clean the rooms and change the towels more often. You get what you pay for. Take a Delux bungalow-they have front sea view terrace. Food was enough but repetative, desserts were the same every day,but you'll find what to eat. If you don't plan to spend the holiday in the hotel it's a good option. But if you are with kids and you plan to spend more time there, I'd not recommend. I'd go again, because it's a great deal for the price.

The best thing about my stay was...

great location and sea view
