V festival announced it’s lineup yesterday, which sees veteran rockers the Stone Roses and Las Vegas favourites the Killers headlining the annual weekender festival. Other main acts include Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Snow Patrol, with a diverse range of support acts, from Nicky Minaj and David Guetta to Noah and the Whale and Friendly Fires. Ed Sheeran will also be making an appearance, having already played at the Ibiza Rocks opening party in June.
Still not convinced? What if I told you that Tom Jones, Example, Tinie Tempah and Olly Murs are also going to be playing? On top of that, there’s Keane, Madness, Nero and The Human League also down to put in an appearance at the festival, which has been running since 1996.
If you’re loving the sound of this amazing weekend, you can get a ticket on Friday 2nd March from 10AM onwards. Like Leeds and Reading festivals, V festival is played across two sites- Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in South Staffordshire. However, if you prefer some home comforts to camping, make sure you book a nearby hotel and get the best of both worlds- awesome music and a comfy bed afterwards!
