ALPHAROOMS.COM WINS TWO BRTISH TRAVEL AWARDS

Alpharooms.com is proud to announce they have achieved silver and bronze at this year’s prestigious British Travel Awards.

The Sheffield based company was nominated for the third year running for the Best online hotel booking company, for which they achieved bronze and this year was the second year they had been nominated for Best flights booking company, for which they achieved silver.

Dan Morley, Marketing Director, at alpharooms.com said: “We are delighted that our customers are pleased with the service we are providing and have taken the time to vote for us. We are extremely proud of achieving silver and bronze at such a respected award ceremony within the industry.”

Alpharooms.com was established in Sheffield, by Jason Fry. The company has continued to grow and currently has over 100 employees and last year’s turnover was in excess of £110 million.

BTA chief executive Lorraine Barnes Burton said: “The British Travel Awards are the benchmark for excellence when it comes to finding out who really is the best in the business of travel for the UK consumer. Topping one million votes was an important milestone for us. Our consumer voters come from a wide demographic, with voting promoted through our media partners including the Sun, the Times, The Sunday Times, the Sunday Sun and LBC.
