Bayview Hotel is conveniently situated on Sliema promenade overlooking the sea, the historical buildings of Malta's capital city Valletta and the traditional Marsamxetto harbour. Excellent local transport links can be found nearby making the complex an ideal base from which to explore Malta.

You can enjoy a dip in the inviting outdoor pool complete with children’s section, or sunbathe on the terrace, whilst the Marina poolside bar serves snacks and refreshments to accompany lazy days in the sun. For cooler days there is an indoor pool and sportier types will enjoy the well equipped fitness suite and sauna. For entertainment there is a popular games room and internet café open 24 hours a day.  

Accommodation at Bayview is avaliable, starting from hotel rooms up to luxury self catering apartments. They all feature modern décor with modern amenities including air conditioning and a private bathroom with bath or shower. Hair dryer, safe lock, iron and a TV remote are avaliable for a refundable deposit of €10 per day.

For those not wanting to venture too far, Silema’s popular shopping centre, cafes, bars and restaurants can be found just a few metres away which provide entertainment to suit all ages.

Terrible

This hotel was the worst ever I have stayed in, when we checked in to our room, I sat on the bed and the springs was so bad I looked to see what type of mattress it was because it felt it was about 15 years old, omg I never thought I would find what I found, there was blood stains all over the mattress, not a few specs but literally all over like someone had a fight, looked in the other mattress and that was worst, never seen anything like it before and I've been a housekeeping manager. Went to reception to ask for another room or beds and asked to speak to the housekeeping manager but would not speak to me and sent one of her staff, not once did we get a apology and was told by the staff that they would steam clean the mattress, I told them that they should be burned. Anyone staying in this place check the mattress and pillows as the other ones they gave us has stains on as well, i felt dirty all week.. Never again at this hotel..

Don't stay here!

I had booked two studio apartments, when we arrived at reception the man told me he couldn't find one of my bookings.. He told me it was probably my fault even though I had the confirmation letter.. He then told me there was no apartments free so I would have to go to blubay. I told him i had booked bay view and no blu bay and he then said there is no bay view apartments.. It was 1 in the morning and my patience was thin so I made my way to blu bay. When I arrived the receptionist there told me they were all booked up and he would have to put us in a two bed.. I told him no and his response was well we can't build a new room.. So they clearly overbooked for some strange reason. We stayed in the 2 bed for one night then the next morning I went down and demanded the 2 studio apartments I had booked. I was then brought to the bay view apartments which I was told didn't exist the night before... And we were given out 2 studios. My room was fine but my sisters was tiny with no balcony which we had paid extra for. During the week there was never a receptionist downstairs so we had to walk to blu bay for anything. It was a nightmare, we were never given fresh sheets or towels. I had to search for a maid to get towels. The cleaning involved emptying the bin and pouring bleach everywhere. My sisters boyfriend had two t shirts covered in bleach stains from them. Our key cards never worked. We got back one night and the electricity had gone in the the building so we couldn't get in the front door and had to wait ages. There was no kettle in our room and it said there was meant to be. We had no bowels no cups.. It was a joke. Everyone who works for this company doesn't care about anything but money.. We spent 800€ on this and it was the worst place over ever stayed and I've stayed in 1€ a night places in Asia! Do not stay in this joke of an establishment!!!!
