My 50th Birthday holiday
Sally Stanyard, Birmingham, west midlands
lovely hotel, clean, All the staff very friendly and welcoming, animation team was great and kept you busy if you wanted to join in and kept everybody entertained and was really friendly. The only one thing i can say is the evenings was very slow and lots of waiting around the entertainment to begin. This is the forth time we have been and we will return again and again so thank you for a lovely relaxing holiday.
The best thing about my stay was...from morning till late afternoon by the pool the entertainment was great for children and adults too.

Really great place, food brilliant
We stayed for a week here at Bahia Principe. The hotel is really well equipped and lovely. Food was great and the drinks too. The rooms were spacious and pools inviting. The grounds were very clean. Only fault being limited sun loungers and having to get up early to reserve them, not good when you want to sleep in! However staff did try and manage this.
The best thing about my stay was...Difficult one as it was all great......

Stayed at the Bahia Principe for a week in June. The hotel is excellent, staff very pleasant, grounds and pool area very well maintained. It is a very large complex and not suitable for the elderly, alot of walking involved as the complex is on many different levels. Food in the restaurants is good we particularily enjoyed the Italian and Spanish a la carte ones. The hotel is located in splendid isolation with no suitable walking paths in the vicinity so you would need to be content to stay in the complex for the duration of your stay. Many families there with young children. Entertainment staff worked hard during the day and encouraged everyone to get involved. Night time entertainment was only ok! Would recommend this hotel to families with young children.

Have just got back from a 7 day stay at this hotel. (and an extra 6 days due to the volcano) Had a brillant time, this is our second visit. The food is excellent as there are 6 a la carte restaurants to choose from and the main buffet restaurant. Asian and mexican restaurants were fantastic. My daughter loved the mini disco and the mini club. Will be booking another holidya to this hotel next year !!!

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Food fantastic, so many restaraunts to choose from. Staff could not do enough for you. Kids facilities brilliant. I paid £240 per night in a junior suite for family of four, if I had paid double that it would have stillbeen great value.

what can we say about this hotel well its beautiful its clean the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. we went on the 8th september for a week. we go to Tenerife every year but we tend to stay in las america or los cristianos so we thought we would try some where different but the only fault i can say was the entertainment wasnt too good and if you want to go to a main stretch beach then you need to get a bus or taxi. the cove beach that is next to the hotel i found not suitable but in saying that you never needed to go to the beach because the bahia principe had it all. OH try the mexican resturant have the mixed grill this was the best resturant out of them all. would i go to this hotel again maybe not , because of the location of where it was.

had a fantastic time, july this year 2009 and can't wait to book again. the hotel was fantastic and catered for all of our families needs. travelled as a family, 2 adults and two children one aged 4 and a 11mth old. The complex was brilliant, the pools excellent with enough space for all and enough areas to go to to get away from the heat if you wanted to. Food very good, good choice however when we tried to book for the ala carte restaurants they were always fully booked, but there was enough choice from the normal places. Bar self service was an excellent idea, no queues and my eldest had a great time helping herself to the fanta!! The kids mini club and mini disco were great, and catered for the kids of all ages, couldn't fault it. the entertainment again was very good with good shows put on by the entertainment team and from outside acts. the hotel was always spotless, rooms very clean and the safety aspects for families very well thought out, we had aroom with an enclosed balcony therefore my youngest could crawl around the room without us worrying about the balcony. we had a very enjoyable holiday and i would recommend this hotel to couples, groups and families there is something for everyone.

Easter Family Holiday
Joyce Long, Ireland
Just back from 2 weeks easter holiday at this hotel, very busy -good points - rooms great very spacious spotlessly clean, food - great variety good quality , hotel facilities and staff were all excellent , my only fault with this hotel is the nightly entertainment in in an open air square just next to reception , most nights it was too cold to go there with small kids and the bar in the square is not included in the all inclusive deal - crazy. talking to other people at the hotel they all had the same complaint .. there was aperfectly good indoor theatre in the lobby were the bar was but no entertainment in it ??? . the free bus from the hotel was also a bit of a joke as you had to go in to the beach at 10.45 and come back at 14.45 no alternative unless you wanted to pay - which we did 3 days - 5 euro per adult and 2.50 per child , that got you the bus in at 12.00 and returned at 18.00. The hotel location is a bit remote . I would recommend this hotel but it could be improved i.e the nightly entertainment in winter and the bus ...

We were booked into Bahia Principe Tenerife instead of Costa Adeje. Both hotels are beside each other. This is an excellent hotel, spotless clean. Food is great plenty of choice for everyone. We got exact rooms we wanted through Alpharooms, interconnecting rooms, seaview.Sunbeds is a problem, after 8am forget about, it this is the only fault I could find.Dont go if you like a main strip as it really is away from resort. We were there for 5 days and really never had to leave complex as it is so big and has lovely gardens. If you want a relaxing holiday in nice surroundings go here you wont be dissapointment we will definitely be returning.

First time at the Bahia Principe hotel and we had a great time. Food was brill something for everyone (be carefull because all you will do is eat). The staff were brill - the reps give in everything - kids club brill, my 5 year old loved it water games face painting etc. We went all inclusive, you could pour you own drinks (I never saw one person legless). The only problem was sunbeds - you are not allowed to put towels on beds before 8am (which is good) but this is not wrote any where - so people came down at 7am put towels on beds & went for breakfast - pool man came around at 7.30am and took towels off beds - new people came down at 8am and took beds - people came back from breakfast and then there was war. WOULD I GO BACK - "YES" -

Celebrate and Chill!
Mrs Paterson, Tenerife
Live on Tenerife - decided to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary on the island. Liked the idea of all inclusive even though we are not big drinkers. The Reception - very welcoming. The junior suite - very inviting. The food - a great selection to suite everyone's taste. Restaurants - well run. The a la carte restaurants - ok. We went to the fish restaurant - could have been a little better. The bar on the main terrace - was ok - help yourself to many of the drinks; a bit of a free for sometimes. The cocktails were poor. Coffee / tea on tap - good. But no c / t facilities in the suite. Pool area lovely although the tannoyed music (for aqua classes, etc|) deafening. Entertainment as one as come to expect and the Motown Sound was great - should have lasted twice as long. We would go back to this hotel again which is unusual for us because we are a bit picky. Our limit is 3 days in any hotel so this break fitted the bill perfectly.

We love this hotel, we've been twice and we're booking again for next year. We can't fault anything about the hotel other than we cant afford to stay there all year long. Food, service, staff, cleanliness, kids club, entertainment, are all superb. Definately worth it's 4*. We can't wait to go back again next year.

Review of 'BAHIA PRINCIPE COSTA ADEJE'

We travel to the sun three times a year (always 4* or more if we can!,and this hotel is the best all rounder we have stayed in.
HOTEL
Views are spectacular all over. Pools and grounds area also beautiful, botanical garden style. Public areas well kept and pretty. Rooms big enough, and well kept with nice touches from housekeeping (flowers made from toilet roll!)
ATMOSPHERE
The hotel is 4*sup and the adjoining sister hotel Bahia Principe Tenerife, (which you can use the facilities of)is 5*. The buildings are hacienda style, fantasy like but not tacky. What appealed to me is that the hotel lives up to the ranking without the pretentious air of some 4/5* hotels, and maintains the 'alive and happy' vibe that is usually lost when you go from 3 to 4 star - especially when it comes to catering for children. This is mainly due to the fantastic entertainment team. They have both adults and children catered for night and day, with the usual stuff but done very well. There's a touch of a caribbean cruise vibe to the whole set up. Importantly, for a large hotel which was at full capacity, it didn't seem over crowded and we didn't experience any queueing problems. The staff were all pleasant and helpful.
ENTERTAINMENT
All day around the pool, for adults and kids. Our son is 5. He was delighted. They did two shows including Grease during the week, which we saw on stage in the evening. They went to the beach. There was plenty of supervision. I was really impressed. Evening entertainment was a mix of in house and professional acts. As hotel entertainment goes it was pretty good, one or two dodgy ones but that doesn't bother me, our son was glued to it, even the in house shows were fun - again, down to the good team.
FOOD
Food was very good to excellent, especially compared to other AI hotels I have stayed in. Good selection and well presented. Lunch menu was sometimes better than dinner. Here I draw another comparison to cruising, you could eat 24/7. They had a snack bar open from 12mn to 8am when all else was closed! I hadn't seen that before. Also, it wasn't difficult to get at the food and drink, you could help your self to nearly everything all day long, including champagne.
DOWNSIDES
I am hard pushed to find any, but I will be picky for the sake of the review. Obvious one, pretty remote resort, Playa Paraiso is walking dista

Review of 'BAHIA PRINCIPE COSTA ADEJE'
Alison Williams, Stowmarket/England
A fantastic hotel, food was out of this world catering for every age, caviar to chicken nuggets! Various a la carte restaurants, thai, mexican, spanish etc which you can eat at 3 times for free, although I really loved the buffet restaurant as there was so much choice. Pools were really good, 4 in total including one climate controlled. Service was good and everything is so clean. Not a lot to do or see out of the hotel as it is a bit out of the way but a taxi to playa de las americas was cheap, although I couldn't find much to do there unless you wanted to drink in the bars. I would say that this is a great hotel to stay at if you like to relax and chill out by the pool all week and would definitely go back.
