Look beyond the hotel
This is the 4th time we have stayed at this hotel, and will go no where else in Sharm. Yes it's tired, and needs some maintenance, and has other issues but the welcome from the staff more than makes up for the minus points. It's always sad to leave however we know it's never too long until we go back. Your holiday is what you make it, the basics are there for you - the rest is for you to make.

Good Value for all the Basics
Katie Moore, Mayfield
My partner and I stayed here for a week. We upgraded from half board to all inclusive when we got there. The food is a little repetitive as the buffet is generally the same every day, with a few minor alterations, but it is cheap enough to eat out when you want some variety. The rooms are basic, but clean with plenty of fresh towels (left in a different arrangement eg a swan/flower etc on the bed every other day!). The staff are very helpful and friendly, and always at hand for anything you need. The reception staff are particularly helpful and can advise on where to go and how to get there. There is a shuttle bus to the beach at particular times, but the taxis are cheap (around £2 or£3) and can be arranged by the staff to suit your times. The manager; Korim, was particularly helpful, and ensures the place runs smoothly and that everyone is enjoying their stay. A geat little hotel, with a small, friendly atmosphere. There is a little shopping area (El Mercato) with a few bars/cafes within 3-4 minute walk from the hotel (turn right out the hotel, then down the dirt track on the right labelled El Mercato). This was nice and near and much more relaxing than the hassle you get in Naama Bay centre. (Visist the tea/herb shop as you go in turn left and the shop; Karkade, is on the right there by the supermarket. The owner gives expert advice and may even srve you a bedouine tea as you browse!)

worst food ever
Hotel is run down & run on a day to day basis. for an A/I they had no toinc ran out of diet coke 3 times in 2 weeks & were without it for a few days each time. The sheets on the beds are all old & pilled up, not very nice to sleep on. The place could do with a complete clean up of all areas. The food was same every meal & mostly cold, rice pes or beans in tomamto sauce, veg selection, potatoes, either mash, wedges, or sliced, fish in sauce, mostly undercooked & either chicken or beef in gunge. There are 100 rooms, so basicly 200 people & only 50 sunbeds. People were getting up at 5am to reserve beds. This is my 3rd time in Sharm, but would never go back to this hotel
The best thing about my stay was...sunshine
