Our room was a good size and was very clean, with regular fresh towels and bedding. The staff were friendly it had a lovely pool and great location. The only downsides were having to pay extra for airconditioning and you could hear a lot of noise from the corridor, even other guests shutting their doors echoed and was very loud.
The best thing about my stay was...The location

Very quiet at the apartments and throughout Marmaris during our stay 13th-21st June. Can only assume this is due to fear of terrorist attacks which is a real shame as the trouble in Istanbul is over 810 km or 14 hours drive away from the resort. I have had my summer holiday in June for the last 7 years in Marmaris/Icmeler and have never seen it so quiet. This certainly won't put me off returning next year as i love the place. The apartment we had was a 2 bedroom with 2 balconies, 1 off the living area and 1 off the main bedroom. Very spacious with plenty storage space (Wardrobe & Chests of drawers in both rooms) The bathroom was small and modern but the shower leaked all over the floor (nothing a few towels wont soak up, just be careful not to break your neck) We upgraded to Half Board on arrival, breakfast every day was a choice of fried, poached or scrambled eggs on toast, beans on toast, turkish breakfast. Dinner was from a menu of around 15 choices chicken, meatballs, pizza, curry all with rice, chips and veg with soup for a starter and ice cream for dessert. All tasty. No entertainment at the apartments which was their downfall as nothing to keep guests in the hotel for. Not bad for a chilled week away in the sun.

Not bad but very basic and very noisy.

My husband and I have just returned from a week here. We stayed in Block D room 415 on the first floor. It was a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 balconies. Neither had a decent view. The room was clean but vey basic. Beds were hard as were the sheets and hospital style white blankets. There were no real facilities for self catering-no toaster or microwave just kettle and 2 rings but we were on half board basis however this was a very limited menu and difficult to negotiate any deviation from this despite me having Crohns disease and unable to eat most things on the menu. We offered to pay extra which was allowed by the owner on one occasion. The pool was large but very cold and the pool bar music was often very loud so not easy to read or relax. All staff were friendly and curteous but this was not true of the mostly Scottish and Irish guests who were mostly drunk, arrogant and aggressive. Their constant smoking, drinking, shouting and swearing made the week hell. We were unable to get any sleep as they often refused to leave the bar or came home after 4am. They then sat on their balconies drinking and talking until 6.30am. Then sunbeds came out at 7.30 and they noise began again. We complained to the hotel but all they would say is we will speak to the reps. Whilst there we witnessed several altercations and verbal and threatened physical attacks on people trying to get the noisy guests to calm down to no avail. It felt like we were holidaying on the Jeremy Kyle Show. I have never known such behaviour from supposed adults who had no regard for others. In all we are more tired now than before we went. I feel embarassed to be British as God knows what the Turkish people think of us if this is what they see.
The best thing about my stay was...The friendly staff and location.

Basic no thrills value for money.
Stayed there for a week would highly recommend the hotel if your planning to be always out and bout like we were spending minimum time at the hotel. Basic clean and tidy rooms cleaned every day towels replaced, pool area always neat and tidy. Best thing bout this hotel is it's walking distance to the strip and beach just a few mins.
The best thing about my stay was...All the excursions.

Brillaint stay to be had at Palm Keskin every time
Ali, East Kilbride Scotland
We have stayed at the Palm Keskin a couple of times and booked to go back in September 2014 for 2 weeks. Its clean and even the rooms not been modernised yet are good. Good sized rooms with decent sized balconys although the one person studio bit small but its only for one person after all. Food in restaurant is lovely. I am a fussy eater but could easily eat there every night quite happily but we go out and about most nights as there alot of nice restaurants near by. Natalies Steak House on the front is a must!! There is entertainment every night I think but doesnt go on until early hours so a good night can be had and wont be kept awake when time to retire. Good sixed pool plus baby pool. Pool games during day for a spell if folk want to join in. Plenty of sunbeds and also some shade for those who dont want fry all day. Grreat location. Supermarket ner by for anyone wanting to cook for themselves and very reasonably priced. Overall great deal for the price and guaranteed decent weather.
The best thing about my stay was...Whole atmosphere of the place

I have stayed at the keskin 4 times, the apartments are basic but clean and in 2011 they started modernising them, the staff are great a couple of them have been there a few years. The resteraunt sells great food english or turkish, and there is entertainment every night. We are going back again August 2013. It is close to the beach and the shops and the marina is just a short bus ride away, or a nice stroll along the beach ffront which takes about 20 minutes.

Not a patch on our previous stay
Violet Haigh, Wigan
We found the appartments were of a lower standard than previously. The showers were very grubby and generally the whole place was quite run down. This would not have bothered us too much had the staff been more friendly. They took plenty of notice of any females under 25 but all us 'oldies' over 40 were left to our own devices. We were told the bar was closed at around midnight, unless of course younger females were present. Everyone we spoke to who had stayed there before said they will not be back!!! Also we noticed that on many occasions people were hinting for tips, even leaving an open envelope with a message to 'have good fly' from our maid 3 days before we were due to leave. This appeared to be the theme everywhere in Marmaris.
The best thing about my stay was...Coming home!

I've been to Marmaris 3 times, but this was my 1st time at the keskin, and i can honestly say i loved every minute of it! the staff were so friendly and would do anything for you, they're also always up for a really good laugh. We were on holiday with family and friends, young and old, and since there wer lots of teenagers we were rather noisy coming home at night, but the staff never complained and just joined in the good fun. its a family orientated hotel and i would recommend it to anyone! its literally a stone throw away from the beach, and all of the best bars and restaraunts in marmaris. the rooms are basic, but seriously, who goes on holiday to look at a room, you're hardly ever in it coz theres so much outside to do! the food in the hotel is absolutely gorgeous, you could eat there morning noon and night, they also have a british sunday dinner night, where you can get roast beef, yorkshire puddings, mash and real bisto gravy! they have entertainment every night, such as michael jackson, belly dancers and karaoke nights!! id advise anyone who's looking for some relaxing fun in the sun to go to this hotel and resort, you really couldnt ask for much better! big shout out to ibo, recep, zafer, harry, chris, oz and ezgi! see ya next year on the 12th of july! booked already!!

Awesome I loved it 13-27 October
I have just arrived back from turkey and to be honest I loved it. It was my first time to marmaris so I thought here goes I'm going to hate it. With all the men and all that flirting. But i enjoyed it. It was great. My mum and everyone else still prefers gumbet. But I like marmaris more. This hotel was great but as it was end of season all the workers just couldn't really be bothered. But they did do what they had to do and what they were told. But you could see they have been working hard they were very tired but they did there job good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to many people and there was absolutely no problem with the rooms. I thought they were tidy sizes. The food in the hotel was great and its not far from anywhere, there was a little park where I took my cousin and she loved it and a big pool and also a baby pool. This hotel was great and I would definitely return. Me and my family really enjoyed it. We got on with one of the workers the most and his name is "Ibo" he was very friendly and always happy to help with any problems. The food is very cheap and very delicious. So if you decide to read what I have wrote the hotel is absolutely amazing. I had the time of my life and hope to go back very soon. xx

This Was A Good Holiday
On entering the hotel reception my first impression was good. At the desk the staff there were very nice and well mannered. Once we were in our room we were disapointed the room seemed smaller than what we had seen on the net, we reported a fault with the curtains immediately yet in the whole duration of our holiday nobody attempted to fix them. Although we were bed and breakfast the choice of breakfast was limited we had the choice of jam on toast, cornflakes or a turkish breakfast, yet for an english breakfast we had to pay extra. The bar staff were very nice and very talkative. The entertainent was basic so we went out to bars in the night. Theres a local bar just right at the bottom of the road were we had made some friends with the staff they are excellent although one of them lied and told us he was an evertonian when the next day we seen him in a liverpool shirt! As evertonians, we wasn't very impressed, But we now know that all kopites are all liers. Theres a barbers next to this restaurant were we made more friends and my dad got a really good haircut for very cheap . Theres another place next to that were you book excursions and theres a man there, hes great his name to us was 'uncle barry' great prices with him so i would strongly recomend any booked excursions to be booked with him. I would recommend any boat trip because there all great we went on one in the day and a night time disco one too they were both lots of fun and very cheap. We also went on a jeep safari which is a long and tiring day an be prepared to get drenched! The turkish bath is a good one aswell I did expect more but it was still very good and so relaxing. For eating out I would also recomend a place called the 'taj mahal' its the best indian/chinese ive ever had expesive but worth it. The markets are really good an dont be afraid to barter them down they will always want a sale no matter the price. The holiday overall was great just the small problems with the hotel,I would recomend this holiday to most people but not people who dont like the sun as its absolutly scorching!
