Brilliant location with very outdated hotel
Pros: -brilliant location, superb pool, ocean 1 step away from pool -superb animation team -great hotel for families with kids as kids would find plenty of entertainment -great shows Cons: -hotel is seriously outdated. mind you its only 3 star hotel but doesnt do this establishment an excuse that it is in such poor shape. I would rather give it 2 stars, not 3! -food was a bit iffy -did not like queuing in restaurant, and that wasnt even peak season yet! Overal - neutral experience from this hotel. But it is extremely popular as new tourists were storming in day after day!
The best thing about my stay was...family friendly, excellent animation team

The hotel is basic but with nice garden and huge swimming pool. The food was great with plenty of choice and varieties every day .The furniture is very old and looks a little bit depressive especialy the coridor that leads to the room 208 wich looks worse then a car park and is not safe for family with kids as doesn't has windows and are pieps coming out of the wall. The good part is that the garden is big with plenty of Sun beds and umbrellas. You have acces to a small sandy beach just besides the swimming pool and the door that leads to the beach is always locked but a security men opened for each of us to get in and out, wich was great and safet. Food was great with plenty choices . We had an issue with the cleaning from the first day but they fix it in the next 5 minutes.Needs a refurbished. My son enjoy a lot the kids club . The hotel was ok for the money we paid
The best thing about my stay was...Garden and food

Cleaners stole money
Maeve King, Lodnon
The worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Food is about less than 1 star. A family next to us was told there safe weren't working and got €385 stolen from the cleaners and it was hidden under their bed. They were also told there was nothing the hotel could do as it weren't in the safe . One day we left our wallet in the room for about 3 hours - came back and our wallet was emptied . On the last day to spoke to more people exact same thing happened them. Total joke . Pool is disgusting full of dirty sea water and the food is covered in flys . Never never returning . No bars near or anyting . Avoid at all costs !!!!!!
The best thing about my stay was...Worst place ever full of thieves and liars

Worst holiday ever! We have been with family of 9 people and all of us complain about food which was often the same and tasteless, about facilities (this hotel really need renovation) and room cleaners do not betake to their job (debris on the floor after cleaning, towels changed very rare even if dirty). There is even no one thing which is good for me! Is not worth any money!
The best thing about my stay was...stay away from hotel

Clean but tired
Angie , United Kingdom
I found the room nice and clean, the place itself tired and felt like it could do with an update, whilst some of the staff were nice and polite and helpful... I waited 20 minutes for someone to come to help me on reception. The maid didn't take my rubbish or change towels...and I had a baby in tow..so it was imperative that rubbish was taken... food was okay for all inclusive, just what you would expect...the pool was lovely and there were plenty of sun loungers... overall a good place to stay ... nothing to do in the surrounding town... helpful rep though!
The best thing about my stay was...The pool and sun loungers

Shame about the food
The hotel is dated, but accommodation is fine, pool are is lovely. Quiet location. Unfortunately the food is just of a poor standard. Little choice, repetitive and tasteless. The lentil soup was lovely and breakfast was palatable, but the rest was poor. Evening entertainment was enjoyable.
The best thing about my stay was...Sunshine and pool area.

Mr Graham addis, London
Stayed 11 to 18 Dec 20172 adults 2 children , very basic but clean , food very basic , good location to explore the island bus stops outside , good variety of trips , shops close by and good supermarket outside to the left , staff friendly rooms clean and roomy , good entertainment every night and great for the kids and a kids club , but just a little maintainence a bit of painting in public areas especially outside the restaurant would make the place look a whole lot better and a general tidy up , but all in all for what we paid it was a bargain . Beware when you check out they expect you to pay for food and drink .and beware of the disabled buggys but the drivers seem to be able to walk to the bar . Wear footwear around the pool
The best thing about my stay was...Good children's entertainment , big rooms . Good atmosphere ,good pool

we have been to the alborada beach for quite a few years now, it does need refurbishing in quite a few areas but did not find this a problem, the food is okay and we always found something to eat in the restaurant, but noticed that sometimes there was a lack of glasses and plastic ones were provided at lunchtime and evening, found the staff friendly, they always spoke and were polite, the bar area inside could do with updating and get rid of the pool tables and machines there very annoying when trying to watch entertainment , there is plenty of room to move them into a another building. All in all we have had an enjoyable stay and will be back next year, as we always see the same people of different nationalities at this hotel.

Was better than i expected it to be for the price! Friendly Staff, Nice Holiday
On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady on reception. I didn't catch her name but one of the best hotel receptionists I have dealt with. Very friendly, helpful with any questions and made the check in process a breeze! Rooms: We had an apartment which was great as weren't confined to just one room if one of us wanted to stay in bed (hungover) The rooms looked clean on arrival but when i got into bed the first night it was covered in sand. The beds had not been changed by the looks of it. Overall I would've liked it to be cleaner but it's a big apartment for the price i don't expect a palace. Drinks: Alcohol was good, mainly had spirits and cocktails, bar staff very friendly and never really experienced any queues even when most nights it was extremely busy. Well staffed at the bar area which is a big bonus! Food: Food was repetitive, you get that in most all inclusive hotels. Salad and pasta was lovely and very fresh. I don't tend to eat meat on holiday so can't comment on that. Area: Most places close early - bars etc so you need to get a taxi to los cristianos or playa americas (20 euro each way) We did this on two nights and was worth it if you wanted to stay out longer. Evening entertainment in hotel was good - different shows every night and a lot of people were getting involved. Staff make the hotel a really nice place to be. Small beach area - you will have to go out a bit to get the decent beaches. Pool was huge! Plenty of sun loungers even at the busiest times could usually get one. I think it was great value of money for what we paid. If you want a cheap, budget holiday then i would definitely recommend this place.
The best thing about my stay was...Friendly welcoming staff

Sandra , Dorset
A multi storey car park that is falling apart, stunk of sewage and crawling with cockroaches. Food terrible, cockroaches crawling in bread at restaurant, told manager, just shrugged his shoulders. Drinks are disgusting, place is filthy, there was feaces on the floor from bar to the toilets from hell. This place I wouldn't even give a 1 * this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We had upset stomachs for 2 weeks even when we got home.
The best thing about my stay was...Nothing
