Hotel Info

Overview

Amarante Pyramids Hotel occupies an excellent location at the heart of the popular tourist area of Giza, around five km from the centre of Cairo. The world-famous pyramids, ancient monuments considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World, lie around 6 kilometres away and Cairo airport is about 35 kilometres from the hotel. The luxuriously furnished rooms have been tastefully decorated in a classical style and feature mainly pastel tones with antique motifs. Each comes with an en suit bathroom, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, a minibar, a hire safe and air conditioning as well as a balcony from whence wonderful views may be enjoyed out over the tropical gardens or hotel pool. Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet; lunch and the evening meal may be taken à la carte. The restaurant's culinary offerings range from Japanese to Lebanese dishes. There is a heated pool, children's paddling area and poolside snack bar around which sun loungers and parasols have been laid out ready for use in the hotel gardens.

Poor service

This was a ghost hotel I found my entire 10 years holiday. There was hardly any guest in the hotel. The hotel is in a poor area. The breakfast was rubbished and dinner was serve only set main course, no dessert nothing. There was only 3 waiters in the restaurant and always light was dim. I had waste my money and energy and also my time. But one good things was the location was near to Giza area. I will not recommend any one to waist their money by booking this hotel.

The best thing about my stay was...

It was a worst time of our total holiday. Thanks I was there only for 2 days.

Review of 'SHERATON ROYAL GARDENS'

The most friendly, helpfull and attentive staff we have come across in many years travelling. The Hotel was exceptionally clean. The food was good and the service was brilliant. Our room, as were all, faced inwards towards the swimming pool. This meant that no noise come through from the out side.Important in Cairo. Hotel location is better than expected being relativly close to the Pyramids and the Citidel. No night club or casino in the hotel. Hotel recomended Limo prices-prices are adhered to by hotel drivers- worked out 50% cheaper than a major hotel in the city centre. Security was of a very high standard.
