Alfagar great stay
Louise Shackleton, United Kingdom
Excellent hotel and amenities more like a village complex like you find in the Caribbean rather than it being a hotel. Staff brilliant..shop good and hotel and grounds great. Room really good size and modern in alfagar 1. Only negatives is we were in room 1305 and we were woken by the bin wagon at 3am each morning.
The best thing about my stay was...Relaxation

Great for families
Great place for young kids. Pools and slides etc were fantastic. Staff also very friendly. Rooms close to the bar were a nightmare though as they had live music blaring every night until almost midnight.
The best thing about my stay was...Pools, slides, proximity to beach.

Made our family trip perfect

The Alfagar is a perfect place for families. The choiceof pools, playgrounds, facilities ets were great. Apartments were spacious and clean and we had the basic one bedroom apartment. The inside pool was ideal for our moany princesses who said the water in the outdoor pool was cold... they were being slightly dramatic!! 😂 and the steps down to the beautiful beach completed it perfectly. You actually wouldnt need to leave the resort if you didnt want too.. and you feel completely at ease with using the alfagar2 facilities. You are really a guest to the whole place. Staff were friendly. Perfect for families
The best thing about my stay was...How set up it was for families

Enjoyed our stay, room was good had everything you would need. Restaurant was hit or miss, wouldn't recommend booking in advance as you need to check the offering on the night you want to eat there. Taxis are cheap and plentiful restaurants in the old town 10 minutes away.
The best thing about my stay was...The variety of pools on offer and the short walk to the small beach.

Absolutely loved are stay we booked a sea view with air conditioning and the room was spacious and clean and well equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave and utensils..the view was amazing and even though there was a bit of noice from seagulls and cricket's it didn't bother me that much...the pools and slides are great and every day we got a sunbed...the food in the restaurant was a bit pricey but everywhere seemed the same...ther is a small park for the kid's my 2 year old loved it...my bigger boy's went off and played football and tennis so there is stuff to do...would recommend and would definitely stay there again....
The best thing about my stay was...the views are amazing

Excellent stay, value for money
Hayley Hodson, Lincolnshire
We visit Alfagar every year and always don't want to come home. The swimming pools are fantastic for children of all ages (5 pools) We go self catering as 3 young children so easier to cook in the apartment and enjoy together on the balcony. Supermarket 15 mins down road or 2 x spar type shop opposite apartments. Small shop on site with essentials. The evening entertainment are mixture of singers and karaoke. Has a children's play area which is good but does needs replacing as starting to look old. We enjoy the night life as its not full on cheesy entertainment more backing noise for you to enjoy your meal and chat. Miguel and his staff are brilliant always smiling and happy to help even when run off their feet.
The best thing about my stay was...Family time on a busy large complex but still loungers, table etc were ever you go

Stayed in Alfagar village and it was fantastic. You would never need to leave the resort for anything. Massive choice of pools and there was 2 playgrounds. Only thing was we were on the 2nd floor and had to drag a buggy up and down the stairs every day as there was no lifts. Also there is no WiFi in the village only.
The best thing about my stay was...The pools

Alfagar 1 Village
Marie J, Ireland
Travelled for a family wedding and found gardens and swimming pools were beautiful. We had a 6 year old and 16 month old with us and we're given a third floor apartment so we had to carry the buggy up and down the stairs as there are no lifts. Quite a strong smell of waste in the bathroom especially in the morning. Could also do with a full mirror as the ground floor apartments have.Trying to get a taxi is a nightmare with waits of up to an hour which is not ideal with children and you can't book in advance you must get a ticket in reception and queue. On three occasions it took up to an hour and that was because some people gave up and went back into three hotel. Some family had ground floor apartmentspace both 1 and 2 bed and these were much nicer.
The best thing about my stay was...The pools and the setting with proximity to a beautiful beach.
