We had an excellent stay for the last two weeks, service, staff and accommodation were top marks. Fantastic rooms on the 4 level back in resort. Weather was superb and Kos as good as always! Even when I fell ill and had to get medical treatment Hotel were very helpful and the local medical services were excellent, soon getting me back on my feet! Hope to be back next year!!
The best thing about my stay was...Friendly staff and the weather, views are to die for!

One of the best functioning hotels I have ever been to. Only thing lacking - a few pc's to replace some of the many telephone booths in the reception area.
The best thing about my stay was...The view.

Pleasant and enjoyable

Aegean Village has an unusual layout - built around a hillside in small 'avenues'. This is not a problem for those with rooms at the top of the hill as a minibus is always available to take you to your room. The advantage of having a room at the top is the spectacular view of course. As far as I could see, all rooms, even those on lower levels, had a sea view. The hotel has a most spacious reception and lounge area, giving a favourable impression on arrival, especially at night when lit. The whole complex has apparently been refurbished recently and this has been most successful - the rooms are pristine and cleaned daily with sheets and towels changed very regularly. Lovely bathroom, king-size bed and flat-screen TV with a couple of channels in English. There was also a phone and safe (fee payable for safe) in each room. The outdoor pool was kept clean and was of a decent size. There was no shortage of sun-beds (free) round the pool but if you strolled down to the hotel's beach there was a 3 euro charge for sunbed/parasol (or 1.5 euros after 3pm). The complex is situated about a mile from the village of Kardamena with a bus service running from just outside the hotel, although services didn't run through the afternoon. I found it pleasant to walk there in daylight but the road wasn't well-lit at night. I didn't find Kardamena particularly attractive - quite a few bars and tavernas but then nothing else but tacky tourist shops. That said, the hotel was self-contained and you could easily stay there without venturing outside. There was a good animation team who delivered a variety of events including acquagym, beach volleyball, crazy golf etc. and evening entertainment which comprised comedy shows, quizzes and bingo. There was a disco a couple of nights a week. Food was of a good standard, plentiful and with adequate variety, although I would have liked to have seen more local dishes as much of it could have been found in any hotel around the world. There was a restaurant manager who hovered throughout all meals and who seemed to have adopted a personal 'No Smiling' policy - I think this was the only thing I felt like complaining about throughout my stay. The restaurant staff carried out their duties effectively but didn't make time for any pleasant small talk with the diners. This could have been due to the volume of work or lack of English. In summary, I would recommend this hotel and would have no hesitation in returning there for a lazy holiday in the sun. I visited in September so things were quiet with very few children but I imagine this would be different during school holidays. I would recommend a visit to the nearby island of Nyssyros to visit the volcano crater and the harbour
The best thing about my stay was...Very nice, well-run hotel, near airport.

WE STAYED THERE STARTING THE 23rd AUGUST UNTIL THE 2nd SEPTEMBER 2010. THE STAFF WAS LOVELY, SO WAS THE FOOD AND THE ROOM. THE POSITION IS VERY GOOD IN FRONT OF THE BEACH. JUST 1.5 KM FROM KARDAMENA VILLAGE WHERE YOU CAN HAVE ALL THE SHOPPING AND NIGHTLIFE YOU NEED. REALLY A VERY GOOD RESORT.
The best thing about my stay was...STAFF, FOOD.

Have just returned from a great week in the Aegean Village. although this was our 3rd visit to the hotel, the recent upgrade of the accomodation exceeded our expectations. once again they have excelled themselves with their service and quality of accomodation and the staff delivered a level of service which can only be supplied by a family run business. there was always a smile and help was always available. it would be difficult to suggest any improvements. the quality of food and also the quantity available means that there is no need for all inclusive, please don't change.

We have just arrived home from spending 2 weeks at this hotel. We were extremely well looked after by all staff members. The hotel itself had quite alot to offer, the food was fabulous and the reception staff very helpful. We had a wonderful evening on Thursday as the Greek dancers were in full costurmes and danced the night away to their traditonal music, included all the audiences in sing alongs and dancing. The beach opposite the hotel was quite small but we preferred this than staying all day at the pool as this sometimes became over-crowed and noisy, the room was fully air conditioned and the maid was just so effecient and friendly, she could not do enough to assist us. Over-all - A beautiful place for young couples with children, safe, friendly people, tasty food and fantastic service. I did not like the local town as it was very dirty and delapadated. Kos is a beautiful place to visit and the scenary surroundings were just fab. Highly recommened place to visit and the volcano island too, ferry trips interesting and unforgetable scenary. Thank you once again to all the staff at the VILLAGE!
