Good value

20 August 2008
Booked a very last minute deal (room only) to escape the rotten weather back home. In the end wished we had booked at least half board as the restaurants around the resort were pretty poor and not exactly cheap! We would look enviously into the dining room every night as we passed, where the food seemed fresh and varied. Room itself was good for what we paid: would have benefited from tea/coffee making facilities and mini fridge, but otherwise comfortable. The grounds of the hotel were the best feature - lovely clean swimming pools, plenty of sun beds and extensive lawns immaculately kept. Entertainment was usual hotel stuff, but it was great to see large groups of extended families (mostly Spanish) all having a good time.

Review of 'Zoraida Gardens

22 October 2006
After arriving at Zoraida Park at 23.00 by a car we hired at Almeria airport and having taken a wrong road and turning up late, both my wife and I were very tired.
We were told that our accomodation had changed and that we were to move next door to the Zoraida Gardens Hotel, due to the fact that there were 900 Spanish pensioners arriving 2 days later to Zoraida Park.
Being late we thought we had lost the chance of anything to eat, but as we booked in we were told to put our luggage in our room and that there would be a table set out for us in the restaurant with some food,(nice one)
The hotel looks impressive from the outside and as you walk in it is very clean, we were given a room on the 4th floor on a corner with pool and sea views, room was very clean and towels were changed every day and bed linen once, during the week.
We were half board, meals were basic, but one thing that impressed, was that if you like as I do bacon to be crisp and your meat cremated the ladies cooking will do this for you while you wait, there is also a microwave to reheat food if you need to.
There were activities organised during the day, of various kinds. Small heated indoor swimming pool,2 pools outside
The resort was very quiet with a very long prom , good for walking. There were places to eat and drink along the prom, one which was very friendly was, Cafe Boulivard.
All in all a very relaxing holiday.

This is the second time in 4 months we have stayed for a week half board at the hotel. Food very good, staff excellent, location very good, very good value for money and yes I would recommend this hotel and the area of Roquettas / Almeria every time. An undiscovered jewel.

Review of 'ZORAIDA PARK'

15 September 2005
An excellent hotel, good food well presented, friendly service and very clean and well managed.Zorida Park Hotel is positioned right on the beach and has extensive gardens so the entire hotel seems spacious. The hotel is situated mid way between the old and new part of Roquettes, about 600 metres from each, along a very pleasant and well maintained promenade.
We choose the all inclusive package and were very pleased with the holiday, at a very reasonable price through Alpha rooms.Could not work out why hotel was not a 4 star.

Review of 'ZORAIDA PARK'

For the price i expected a lot less. The rooms were great, the food excellent, we were there 6 days and the dinner was different every night. Offered local and UK food so no complaints there. Pool was great right on the beach as well. Very relaxed resort, not a vibrant nightlife, but didn't go there for that. Did find a nice bar across the road though, Le Cheilo. Chill out music, candles and open until 6am, plus a very special shot that you will have to ask the owner Juan about, involves redbull and must only be drunk after 3am!

Well we have just come back from Zoraida Park Hotel, Almeria, it was wonderfull, food excellent, room brilliant, pool the best I've been in, staff very nice, very clean as well, travel rep not very good!
Water park was a great day out & Mini Holliwood was just brilliant, but you got to spend a full day there, not just the evening!!

Zoraida Park is clean and friendly and located on the beach.
The food is good and varied and the town's in easy reach.
The garden and activities make it a very good place to stay.
And probably best of all is the reasonable price you pay.
