The Wyndham Palm Springs is an excellent choice for anyone wanting to be reasonably close to the bars/restaurants/shops of 'downtown' Palm Springs (South Palm Canyon Drive). It's about a 10 minute walk. Rooms are very clean, well appointed, & spacious. Service is excellent - friendly & helpful. The alpharooms.com rate was excellent for our stay - and, even better, the hotel upgraded us to a 'mini suite'. The pool is probably one of the biggest in Palm Springs, with a separate children's pool. Car Parking facilities (valet or self park) are excellent and close to the hotel lobby (unlike some hotels in Palm Springs). The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus between Palm Springs Airport & the hotel. We have stayed at other hotels in Palm Springs but at the alpharooms.com rate available for our stay this hotel has to be highly recommended and excellent value for money. We will definitely stay there for our next visit if similar rates are available!!
