reception staff were quite rude and check in was very slow. both rooms were very low quality, the beadspreads we quite dirty and the windows wouldn't close (noisy bus route the night we stayed). camp beds in both rooms with old painted furniture. no remote control for the tv, no plug near to the mirror (my colleague didn't even have a mirror) and breakfast was also poor. location was good (lots of nice bars and places to eat) but the hotel took some finding, we thought the entrance was actually the tradesmans door! perhaps I expect too much but if you pay more than £45 for this room you are paying too much !

Friendly, helpfull and polite staff. Quick check in process, clean room and more than adequate for a short stay at a rasonable price as far as central London is concerned. Good work!

The Wedgewood's in a great location. It sits right between Queensway and Bayswater, so there's a lot to do during the day and a nice selection of bars and restaurants to choose from. My room was clean and I didn't have to share a bathroom with anyone else on the floor which was nice. I stayed only two nights but really feel for the place. It's got a local charm that other 2 stars I've stayed in lack. Would recommend for someone travelling alone or in a small group of people.

Small hotell with small rooms and bathroom in what reminded us of a closet. Beds ok, breakfast is poor, but friendly staff. Close to underground, in a freindly and quiet neighbourhood.
