If the flight, holiday or package that you have chosen displays the ATOL logo then your booking will be financially safe. Whether you book a flight only, a flight plus other holiday elements or a complete package you will be protected if the flight is ATOL protected.
What is ATOL protection?
ATOL protects you from losing money or being stranded abroad if the tour operator goes out of business. If a licensed firm goes out of business, the CAA can give refunds to people who can’t travel and arrange for people abroad to fly home.
Are all bookings ATOL protected?
No. Only charter flights that carry the ATOL logo offer full protection to the customer. All other holidays and flights, including budget airlines, offer no financial protection to the customer.
How do I protect a non - ATOL booking?
