Is my holiday protected?
Yes. If you book a flight plus other holiday elements with Alpharooms your booking will always be ATOL protected. If you book on or after 1 October 2012 you will be able to download an ATOL Certificate to confirm this.

Is my flight only booking ATOL protected?
Only flights marked as "ATOL protected" in our search results offer ATOL protection. If your flight is ATOL protected and you book on or after 1 October 2012 you will be able to download an ATOL Certificate to confirm this.
What is an ATOL Certificate?
An ATOL Certificate is a standard document which makes clear how your trip is protected and by whom.

What is ATOL protection?
ATOL protects you from losing money or being stranded abroad if any of the companies involved in arranging your flight or holiday go out of business. If a licensed firm goes out of business, the CAA can give refunds to people who can’t travel and arrange for people abroad to fly home.

How do I protect a non - ATOL booking?
The easiest way to protect yourself from financial loss is to pay for your booking using a credit card. This will allow you to recover the monies you have paid if a supplier fails and as a result cannot deliver the service you have paid for. Can I check whether a travel company is ATOL protected?
To check whether the firm you want to book with holds an ATOL (search here). You should check with your tour operator (or your travel agent) that all the holiday arrangements you’re booking with them (flights and accommodation) are covered by their ATOL.
