Just stayed at the vista sol and found it a ideal location for Palma nove and magaluf, you have no doubt read about the hill which is steep but helps to keep you fit .
The Hotal seems to be very geared up to groups of young scandanavians who seem to have the full run of the hotel and the management seem to turn a blind eye to them.
pool area great with steps down to magaluf beach .
music around the pool also seemed to be geared for our scandanavian friends which sounded like the eurovision song contest most of the time.
The best thing about the vista sol though is the great sea views and also a great maid service.
food loked good too but we never ate there.
i would stay there again if only for the location and the sea views.

Stayed apts 3rd June 2008,brill location for night life even for us oldies.Apts spotless,friendly staff.Would be 5/5 except for hills.Taxi in taxi out.Look forward to staying again...Denise,Martin & Dougie.

Stayed in apts 3/6/08. Myself, boyfriend and his father. Apts spotless great view of the bunjee & sea. Good location for the night life, even for us oldies. Would have give 5/5 but for the hill. Hard going at our age, taxi ride to and from apts. Look forward to staying again. Denise,Martin & Dougie

Definitley worth the money....!

Just arrived back from staying at Vista Sol with two female friends. We were just there for a cheap week in the sun. All of us being 18/19 we werent expecting anything to spectacular for our money. But we were all plesently surprised at how clean, spacious and well kept the hotel was. There seemed to be quite a few families and older couples staying in the hotel and although noise wasnt a concern of ours it wasnt something that seemed very apparent.
The hotel is in a prime location with steps down onto the beach and the strip, bearing in mind these do close at 10pm. Although teh hotel is situated on a hill even at 3am after hours of dancing and attempting to walk in heels it wasnt that much of a struggle.
Pool area was always pretty clean, althouh the pool itelf wasnt, but we were staying 'out of season' so this may be why.
My only complaint would be that when we did ask reception for advice when there appeared to be a man hanging around our apartment, they seemed very reluctant to help and almost disinterested. Particually because we were a group of young girls and there were also lots of children staying in the hotel, i thought this was rather bad. But apart from that the stay was fab and much better than we expected. Would definatley recommend Vista Sol and we are already planning our next trip!!

Great Location

Stayed at Vista Sol March 2008 week before Easter and also into Easter week-end. Clean and spacious accommodation. Plent of room for 3 of us only draw back was the big hill at night tried it once but got taxi back rest of time they are cheap anyway and worth it, maybe because a bit out of season the back gate shut at 8.00 (smaller hill out that end) at night - had great time. Nice indoor pool and views over towards sea wonderful, nice outside area and sunbeds. Would definitely be back there. Friendly staff.

Vista Sol Review

Stayed here with my Partner and 2 children (3 year old girl and 11 Month old boy) for 2 weeks. Apartment was spacious and clean, maid service regular and very meticulous. Apartments are ideally situated between Magalluf and Playa San Matias with the main magalluf beach being easy accessed by some steps at the rear of the swimming pool area and St Matias being a mere 5 minute walk down a steep hill. This hill is only about 250m long and is not too much of a struggle coming back up with a full stomach and a child in the buggy. The beaches are ideal for young children as the water is shallow and as the sand is white it does not get too hot during the day. Swimming pool area very clean and tidy with plenty of sunbeds. Apartments seemed to be mainly populated by scandinavian youngsters who were no trouble round the pool and very quiet at night, the main source of noise coming from along the Magallluf strip area. This noise can be a bit excessive at times (we were in Magalluf after all!!!) but was never loud enough to wake the children. I would definitely recommend staying at the Vista Sol and would stay there again.

great holiday

went for a relaxing holiday and got just that, the room was very clean as was all the hotel. the only fault was the steep hill that led to vista soll but would definitely stay there again. it was situated in a great spot for beaches and night life. i have been to magaluff at least 30 times and it feels like i am coming home every time - superb.

Fantastic hotel - and very cost effective - The girls thoroughly enjoyed their stay in this clean and functional hotel - The pool was pretty good too.
Had absolutely no problems with this hotel or the help from the staff...
would definitely use this hotel again..
It's at the top of a massive hill which was pretty good fun to watch all the rest of the girls teetering down in their 6 inch stilettos but probably not so good if you struggle with walking at all......
Fab service from alpharooms too - roll on 2008 we're coming back again.....

I had to book into this hotel as the Stag Party I was with was in another hotel which was full.
I am glad I stayed at the Vista Sol. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated as well.
As for the hotels location I cannot fault its position in that it was close enough to visit the bars but not too close to be affected by the noise.
It was also ideally situated for the beaches on either side of the headland.
On the last morning I took breakfast at the hotel which was reasonable - the choice was good & catered for all nationalities.
I would definitely return to the same hotel.

Great holiay. We went for new year, the apartment was big with plenty of space for the four of us. Location was great, only down the road to the bars and shops, just a bit steep coming back. Staff very freindly. Indoor swimming pool large and warm, most of the time we had it to ourselves. Would definitely stay here again.

we booked up on the advice of my husband who had stayed here previously and i must admit i was very pleased with these apartments.There were 10 girls all in celebrating a 40th birthday and the location of the place is great right in the centre of the action although at night time it is quiet enough to get a good nights sleep.
The rooms are spacious and kept very clean and the pool and surrounding areas are spotless.
I would recommend these apartments for anyone going to magaluf without hesitation and i will definately return when back in magaluf.

Fantastic hotel, had a great time, rooms are clean and quite big. Purpose of the stay was my hen weekend! I shared a room with 4 girls and it still didn't feel cramped!! Hotel staff were helpful and the pool area was really nice with plenty if sunbeds. Couldn't fault it one bit!!

We went here with tw toddlers a child a teen and two adults 3 pernsioners :
the hotel had something for every1 to do all the time!
Its room was gexcellent very clean
friendly staff
the only thing was there was an adult, a child and a teen in the 1 apartment ! and the teen didnt like havin to sleep on the sofa by herself in weird surrounding the first time we stayed but since then we have went to this hotel about 4 times a year for the past 2-3 years !
so every1 stay here its close to the town and beach ect
its perfect for allages like we show with the different age groups we travel with!

A fabulous aparthotel with really friendly staff. Excellent rooms with a living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen and I booked room only so wasn't expecting an apartment all to myself. Can't rate it highly enough and would definitely stay there again.
