only booked the vista de rey after reading the other reviews as the location in the description put us off and we thought the low price and star rating was a reflection of the hotel/location. Your customer reviews were spot on, absolutley fantastic accomomdation, never heard a train from the hotel and used the fab/cheap service everyday! Trains run from 6am - midnight, every half hour so perfect for day trips or nights out! The only ptoblem we did have was that we booked the apartment as a one bedroom but the hotel only have studios, on calling alpha rooms they rectified the situation within 2 hours and supplied us with another studio at no cost to ourselves. Excellent service! The staff are freindly, the pool is lovely and quiet and the apartments very well equipped. The hustle and bustle of all 3 main resorts is less than 2 euro (return) away. I would certainly recommend alpha rooms and the vista de rey! Perfect!

Great value for money, staff very helpful, clean airy room with nice views over the sea. Only reservations, small pool and it sems to be attracting some loud stag perties but that is not the fault of the Hotel.

This hotel apartment complex is absolutely superb! The accommodation is fantastic value for money. We were surprised to find a large room with a good sized bathroom and kitchen area. There was a small balcony overlooking the hotels main patio and swimming pool. TV in each room (only Spanish speaking!) and an in-room air conditioning unit. The most ideal part of this accommodation is its' location in relation to the train network. The rail system is brilliant. with fares which are very cheap (most expensive was 1 Euro 35 cents from the airport to the hotel). If you are travelling straight to the hotel from the airport, you need to get off at the next stop AFTER Benalmadina, a little place called TORREMUELLE. The hotel is immediately across the road but surprisingly, you don't hear the trains from inside you room. Breakfast is very simple but well prepared and good to eat and consists of coffee, cheese and ham toastie, coissant and jam and orange juice. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. Overall, an excellent choice for a break away.

we loved this hotel, the best we have had yet! beautiful place, really handy having the train station there. my family were in the next resort torablanca, and they came to us, they loved it too, so much there booking vista de rey for march. pool was cleaned every day. staff were only to helpfull. the food was good, and reasonable too. however there was no shop near for your milk and bread, but we arrived late, and got on a train to fuingerola for brekfast, and took back, water,milk and so on. not minnutes from either stations. would recomnd this hotel, even tho there is no local shop, like i said the staff were helpfull, and soon someone will open a shop. i give this hotel a good thumbs up.

Genuinely thought we would be staying in Benalmadena next to the railway station, we were next to the railway ok but the next stop down in the middle of nowhere. However hotel very friendly and clean if you dont mind driving or taxis for night out.
