i stayed here and there were 5 of us and it was my first holiday abroad these apartments wer very nice clean and spacious the only thing was the 150 r so steps from the town we wer not brave enough to attempt as they looked pretty steep so we tuk taxis which da receptionist wil ring for you which was handy but it always cost us €3 and over because they have meters but in fairness they go pretty fast i since there was 5 of us it cost double and it was only until the last day we realised the vista club hav a shuttle bus you should check this out by the way. also they had very good entertainment we sawsister act and a hypnotist which were both very good and hilarious the pool is perfect size and for only €2 a day for a sun lounger its very good value but we found it was better to get 3 between 5 because none of us wer lying out at the same time as som were in the pool or at the bar overall i loved these apartments and will definately be back

Really great place for a break!
11 May 2008
Stayed here a couple of times over the years but second time with young kids. Five of us stayed in one of the 3 bedroom apartments in Vista Club. May is a good time to go there - weather permitting. It had loads of space and could easily have accommodated 8 people! 3 good size rooms, 2 bathrooms, a good sized kitchen and a washing room as well as a huge open planned lounge/dining area and balcony. Spectacular views of Santa Ponsa bay. Food in the apartments is okay but it is only bar snacks from the pool bar. Staff were helpful and very friendly and there are a couple of reps who arrange games for kids and their families during the day and in the evening in the other bar. The evening entertainment is a bit cheesy but the kids had a ball! Rooms are clean and bright and maids came in every other day to clean and change towels etc. There is a bit of noise that travels from floors below and above when furniture is moved, people coming home late or kids playing around but the worst noise is the birds in the trees singing their dawn chorus every morning! The apartments are at the far end of the town square and getting to them means either a 10 minute stroll up a fairly steep hill or tackle 173 steps which seem to go straight up! It is tough but good craic if you're able to do it - and it does get easier - probably the only exercise you will do! Loads of places to shop or eat and drink and a couple of places where kids can safely play for hours while you can enjoy a drink. Don't stick to the main town square area but go to the other side of the bay too. There are loads of little shops as well as two large supermarkets and cafes like Bobby's where you can sit in the sun and eat and they make you feel really welcome. We were trying to hire a villa for the week but glad we couldn't get one and ended up in Vista Club!

Brilliant Holiday
09 May 2008
I would recommend this accomodation to all ages, it suited everyone, from children to teenagers to adults. Entertainers were a good crack and amused us throughout the day & in the bar every night. Extreme water polo everyday was a brilliant laugh... Kept us fit out... along with all the steps to the apartments. The pool and the area around the pool was spotless... and bar staff were very friendly & helpful. Food wasn't bad either! Rooms were spacious and clean. The only fault was no tv in the room.

Enjoy a Break here!!
15 April 2008
Friendly staff. Very clean, large 2-bedroomed apartment. Great balcony with views over the whole resort. Were in block 5, 2nd floor so did not here any noise coming from corridors or moving people upstairs. Only the occasional movement of furniture. Pool area great although drinks at bar expensive. Entertainment throughout the day for children and always something going on in the bar each night. The location was good. Within walking distance of The Square (10 mins) and main resort (10-15 mins). The steps down into the resort are very steep. The other option is to walk up the bank, which passes many shops, small bars and take aways!. In the main resort there are plenty of bars and pubs (most catering for families). Good selection of restaurants however, not many catered for vegetarians. Would definitely use the apartments again but would travel to the resort during May to September as this is when all of the bars, etc are open. Why don't you give this place a try? You wont be disappointed!

Not For Older Couples
13 April 2008
This is not a hotel it's a complex of apartments it's geared very well for children but not for mature people without children.
At nine pm in the bar until ten pm you have the childrens disco, 10 till 10.30 bingo and then some other type of entertainment depending on the day so if you want a peaceful drink forget it.
There is no resturaunt just a snack bar (expensive) down alongside the pool so expect to get wet.
As for the steps I counted 175 of them and after going down to eat or drink 4 or 5 times a day your legs get very tired.
There is plenty of night life in the town and I would recomend that rather than staying at the complex, unless you have children. These apartments are definitely not for the mature couple and we would not go too them again and would not have gone if we had realized it is meant for children....

Staff at work but not switched on. Food avg. Bar good. No tv in apt . A tv is badly needed as you wont get any sleep with the noise from kids running loose you will need a holiday after this to get some rest.

Best holiday ever
23 August 2007
after readin mixed reviews regarding vista club i was unsure as to what to expect. However I have to say these apartments were one of the best i have ever stayed in. THe 3 bedroom apartments were very spacious. THe rooms were lovely, however there was a foul smell from the wash room outside the kithch. The other bad point was that the bins in our apartment had not been emptied from the previous people-this maybe causing the foul smell. Another downside was that there was no airconditions. It cost 35euro to hire a fan, 20 of which you got back at the end of your stay. The view from the apartment was amazing. You could look over the balcony and see the beach and also the pool. I was holidaying with a friend and my family and the apartments were probably more suitable for couples and families, however my friend and I had a class time. Danielle and Chris, the 2entertainers for vista club were brilliant. They worked hard to provide entertainment for all ages throughout the day and at nite in the bar. The hypnotist in the bar was reali good. THe 176 steps which took you to the town were a bit off-putting at the start but after a couple of trecks up and down it wasnt a problem. However if you are not feeling too energetic a taxi only costs around 3euro. The apartments have alot of steps situated throughout and a few members of our party fell during our stay. However regardless of a few bruised ankles we all had a marvellous time. The reception staff were very helpful except for one girl who was very ignorant and would practically ignore you. dont let this put you off. All in all it is a lovely place and the night life is first class. i would definitely return.

Review
23 June 2007
We went during Easter this year and had really bad weather, it was very cold and wet. The vista club apartments were cold at night and there was limited hot water. There are no televisions in the rooms. It is situated on the top of a steep hill, the steps to the apartments were very slippery when wet. I would not go again at this time of year, or probably any other. I preferred Gran Canaria.

Review of 'Vista Club'
21 September 2006
as a travel agent my biggest fear would be that we were allocated on arrival in this accom because of what clients have told me over the years i was traveling with a small child of two we also had a family with a 16year and 11mth old and a family with granny 2adult 7year and a 3mth old i have to say the apartment were absolutly brill the view took my breathaway, the entertainment great fun even thought it was end of season the apartments are huge and i have never seen bal so big the steps can be a bit of a problem but you just get on with it, on the down side the tea/coffee/coke is very expensive also to hire out anything for your apartment to much also watch out for your boy with the glasses in the bar downstairs and your change overall we all loved the apartments

Review of 'VISTA CLUB'
13 February 2006
EXCELLENT! Went in May (easter week) and had a fantastic time! Entertainment excellent, especially the hypnotist in the bar! Located close to all bars/clubs. Taxi to nearby Magalluf only a few euro's if you want a change of scene! Irish Bars, Karaoke bars, you name it, it has it! Excellent choice for eating out too, it really had it all, not so sure i'd go in peak season, but at easter, it would be suited for families or young couples. Staff very friendly, apartments so clean! And believe me I'm FUSSY! ABSOLUTELY brilliant place to go. Will definitely return. Located overlooking the bay of Santa Ponsa, excellent views! If all this hasnt sold it to you, nothing will! TO ALL THISE REVIWER'S WHO COMPLAINED ABOUT RESIDENTS, that is the luck of the draw when you stay anywhere, Santa Ponsa is a 'young n lively' town in peak season, I would recommend an Easter Holiday for those with families for a quiet time, we certainly had NO PROBLEMS with noise (and we were 41 students away together!)For those with kiddies, there are two routes down to town, one set of steps along to the right of apartments (about 250 steps!) and one 10 minute route down the hill to the left. We even made it up the steps most nights! Also McDonalds is in town centre if kiddies prefer to local foods, also supermarket 10 min walk. But dont be put off by reviews which moan about steps, the alternative route, a gentle hill is just as quick. I really could highly recommend this resort. Clean pool, kids club, poolside bar.....what more could you ask for, and VERY reasonably priced. I will return here for definite. GUARANTEED GOOD HOLIDAY.
