Review of Voncent Van Gogh hotel

The accommodation was clean, spacious and adequate and, very importantly for buzzing Amsterdam, in a relatively attractive and peaceful area, just round the corner from the main museum area, the Vondelpark and with trams almost at the door. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the heart of the city and the staff are great. Plenty of info on hand too about what to see, do etc. A good, reasonably priced option and I'll be back. Very quick and conveniant check in minimum fuss, which i like the rooms are basic but have everything you need, a bit of a distance from dam square 15 mins walk or 4 minute tram ride, but i prefer the walk, right next to the van gogh museum, but watch out as across the way is a school so if you fancy a big lie in then think again :)

very basic accommodation great location staff helpful breakfast just about adequate but not pleasureable we were only staying 1 night so it served a purpose
