Review of Villasol

Stayed at Villasol for 6 nights over the New Year period. Not at all impressed. the room was extremely basic, dirty and old fashioned, but the bathroom was the worst. It was grotty. the food was dire...a really poor selection indeed. it was always cold and the breakfast choice was laughable. Boiled egg, ham and cheese. The facilities were poor. the bar was supposed to be open from 10.00 -midnight, but we frequently found this wasn't the case. Please don't go there...try others!

Review of 'Villasol'

Hi there, did not enjoy stay at Villasol, my friend & I stayed there for the new year, rooms good & clean, food a lot to be desired, no choice of hot breakfast, evening meal not a great choice, always cold we ate out a lot as selection not nice.  Not very pleasant staff, I have been going to Benalmadena for 12 years & never seen or stayed in a hotel like this one. I would advise brits not to book this hotel.

Villasol - bang for the buck

I was very very pleased with my stay at the Villasol.  It is a 3 star hotel but feels much better.  The rooms are clean and the views are quite nice.  The location is close to the airport and right on the strip in Benalmadena.  There are stores and restaurants on all sides and most importantly, the beautiful beach is just a few steps away.  Hotel Villasol is about 20 minutes from Malaga, but the beaches were far superior in Benalmadena.  A very satisfying experience and I didn't have to break the bank!
