Staff are all very friendly - especially those at the bar. The apartments are clean and just what you'd expect from the type of accommodation, bathroom and kitchen were well equipped with the provision for hiring anything else you need. The pool is large enough and there were plenty of loungers about. There is internet access in the bar for anyone who has to check their emails.
The apartments themselves are within 5-6 minutes walk of Matagorda centre and 20 minutes of the strip in Puerto del Carmen, taxi ranks and bus stops are really close to cater for those who don't want to hire a car. The only negative thing I can say about the place is how close it is to the airport - it's not under the flight path but it's fairly close, you can see the runway if you're in the right place.
Other than that the place was nice, clean and well looked after which is the main thing on your holiday. If you are booking flights and hotels separately, don't worry about transfers, get a taxi from the airport - cost me less than 10 euros - it really is the easiest way!! All I can add to that is enjoy your stay at Las Marinas and say hi to the bar staff!!
