OK. but....
26 May 2008
Hotel was nice, but one minus was standart of the room. we had 1 bed apartment with one bed extra for child.Equipment of kitchenette was poor(no pots, plates, spoons, ketle was no working-no spare one).Around hotel was very nice, pool cleaned every day.
The food was plentiful, and there was a choice for all types of eater.Beaches are a little bit too far away from the hotel, but is a free bus every hour.
Despite that i would recomend this hotel to families but i would give for that hotel only 3 stars no 4.
Price from alpharooms was very affordable.

We found this hotel very clean and pleasant. The rooms were very big, ideal for families, the food was average however we never went hungry. The pool area was very clean and the whole place had a high standard of cleanliness. The staff were helpfull. The hotel is a bit out of the way from all the hustle and bustle of night life. The only fault that i can pick up on is the lack of entertainment! Nothing really took place during the day that was advertised and the evening entertainment was poor. There was an non existing kids club also!!!!! Despite that i would recomend this hotel to families.

Nice hotel,pluses and minuses
30 December 2007
Just returned from a 1 week stay at the villa tagoro over xmas.
We upgraded to a superior room, which was well worth the money for the view and size of balcony alone. One minus was the jukuzi (it never worked), and the water sometimes went off completely!
The food was plentiful, and there was a choice for all types of eater. Some days were better than other (i.e. xmas day - excellent), although the hugh choice in itself causes a repetitive nature on some days.
The entertainment at night was fairly basic but better than nothing. My main complaint was the layout of the main room, there were pillars everywhere, giving a restricted view to the stage.
The daytime entertainment was almost non existent, although a effeort was made xmas day, and all the kids got pressys off father xmas, and a magic show (nice touch).
The hotel was immaculatly clean, staff friendly, and never had to wait more than 10 mins for a drink.
The pool had amble space and was again spotless as where the bar areas on restaurants (although air con would be a good investment).
Overall would go again, even though its a huge 10 mins walk to the beach (which didn't bother us at all)!
And for all the lazy people, theres a free bus!

I would go again
25 October 2007
I thought the location of the hotel was a bit far away from any night life. The hotel staff were very very helpful and helped us keep our room on the last day, which was fantastic. The set out of the Villas was great, the pool and areas were generally kept very clean. My only disappointments were with regard to the food, we ate out most days, the bar service, not enough staff for the amount of people and the entertainment was extremely poor. I would go again, but take into account eating and drinking out when I assess the cost

22 October 2007
The Villa Tagoro was a fabulous holiday the facilities were great and there was always something to do whether it was something for the children or something for the adults. I would recomend this holiday to everyone. My children and I loved it and are looking forward to going again.

Review of Villa Tagoro
12 August 2007
The food was excellent and the facilities generally speaking were good. I believe this did represent good value at £508 per two people, all inclusive. However, I was disappointed with the standard of the rooms. The last review said 'some rooms were a bit dated', I would say this is now 'some rooms are in a poor state of repair'. We had four rooms in all, and each had different problems on arrival. Some were dealt with swiftly, some needed escalation to the manageress, and some were not resolved before we left. The evening entertainment was some of the worst I've seen, with the exceptiono of The Beatles tribute band which were excellent. The competitions during the day were very poorly organised, and I got the impression the 'animation team' were largely new to the job and had had very little training. That said, I still say it represented good value, but I would have been very disappointed if I had paid much more.

Review of 'VILLA TAGORO'

Excellent value,if booked through Alpharooms-paid nearly £250 less than the same deal booked direct with the hotel!Good food, some rooms a bit dated but spottless with daily maid service-room re furbs are under way.Staff couldnt do enough from reception right through entertainment who work really hard for kids all day.Long way from beach but free bus runs every hour both ways,-or hire a car plenty free parking outside.Bit of a mad rush of people waiting for the sunbeds to be unlocked in a morning - good time to go for breakfast while they are all stood around!this was our 4th visit and the one thing that keeps us going back apart from all the good things said above is that it has a really good atmosphere helped by the low level design (although there was one woman complaining she wanted a high level room-this is a 2 storey high hotel!) - you just cant please some people!!!

Review of 'VILLA TAGORO'

I would recommend this hotel to families, couples & singles. The rooms are spacious & clean, the food is very good & the choice for the all inclusive drinks is excellent. The pools are large enough although sometimes sun loungers can be in short supply.

A pleasant return to the'VILLA TAGORO'
03 December 2006
The Villa Tagoro is a rather like a garden village with charming adobe style accommodation set in beautful, mature and well maintained gardens. I particularly like swimming and the pool is very clean and extremely safe. We have been many times there and have always been imprssed by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. This time was no exception. The room service and cleaning was excellent and the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Although the food was good and reasonably varied it was not quite as good as we had experienced in the past but only slightly. After 2 weeks it gets perhaps a little repetitive but was clean wholesome and good value for what we paid. This is an excellent hotel for couples with pre-school children and the elderly. Not so good perhaps for teenagers and young singles.Would we go back? The answer is "yes". For the money we paid you could not fault it. This was our first time booking online with Alpharooms.com and found it easy, reliable and efficient.

Review of 'VILLA TAGORO'
02 November 2006
Enjoyed a fantastic holiday at Villa Tagoro! I really cant fault the resort or its staff at all. On arrival we were allocated our room really quickly which was a godsend when you have a toddler who had been travelling 12 hours and is testng you to the limits! We were really impressed by the cleanliness of our apartment, rooms are cleaned and towels changed on a daily basis and bedding changed every other day. The food is good and theres a large selection but it can get a bit tedious after a while, however theres a fantastic chinese takeaway 2 mins up the road! The hotel is quite far away from the beach and shops but the hotel do offer a free bus and taxis are an extremely cheap mode of transport. I read many reviews before going and was very apprehensive at what I had let |
