Villa palma apartments were highly recommended by a friend of a friend and we were not disappointed. The apartments are in a peaceful area of Armutalan with a nice breeze from the nearby pine forests. There are 3 supermarkets less than 5 minutes walk away and the number 3 dolmus (taking you to the seafront & marina area for 2TL) stops right outside. There are many nice bars and restaurants in the surrounding area and it is an easy 10 min walk to the busier part of Armutalan with many shops, bars and restaurants. The owners and staff are all really lovely and it is a small and friendly place. There are only 14 apartments in total, all very well equipped, 6 two bedroomed apartments and 8 one bedroomned apartments. The 2 bedroomed apartments are enormous and are on the 2nd and 3rd floor. one bedroomed apartments are either on the ground floor, facing the lane witha terrace and no balcony or on the top floor, overlooking the pool. there are 4 floors in total, with no lift The bar serves breakfast, lunch and snacks but there is no pressure whatsoever from the staff to stay at the apartments to eat or drink. The apartments are clean and comfy although there were a few minor niggles, such as kitchen door handles not matching, very assorted cutlery/crockery, and bedding/towels only changed when I asked (this was done with a smiie though and the maid did come in daily to sweep the floor and change the bins). However in my opinion the lovely staff more than made up for these things. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Palma Apartments to anyone and hope to return one day.
