The Vila Gale Village Cascais is situated just two minutes from the marina and just over five minutes walk to the town centre. The rooms are very spacious and decorated very well; they include a small kitchenette complete with cooker, utensils and fridge. The rooms all have spacious balconies, a couple of arm chairs, table and chairs to eat it if you so desire. The bathroom is large and pretty modern. The hairdryer as with many hotels is not the best - so ladies bring your own!!!
We stayed BB and the breakfasts are buffet style with fabulous choice. The pool area is lovely and is very clean. The snack bar is also pretty good for a drink or a bite of lunch.
The staff at the hotel are very helpful and happily gave us maps and pointed us in the right direction.
All in all you can't beat the hotel for location, facilities, food or service.
If you haven't been to Cascais it is a lovely place - very popular with the Portuguese, great restaurants and only 30 mins from Lisbon on the train. It costs about 50 Euros from the airport.
