1 day of relaxation!!

I arrived at Vila Gale for one night en-route to lisbon to meet friends for a gig. This hotel is in a fantastic area if you want a quiet relaxing time. The staff are fantastic and look after you. I had a massage done by Bernado 'fabulous' .The room was brill for the money in fact one of the best for the cash that I paid. Granted this hotel is coupley but thats not a problem who cares whos in the hotel, I wouldn't even have noticed it if I hadn't read earlier reviews. All in all if you want a relaxing time this is the place, but you need a car if you want to explore. I will go back there for if I am in the area. The restaurants that are nearby on the beach have great food and the beach is a stones throw away.

Excellent Hotel

Excellent hotel & excellent staff - had a totally laid back time which is what we wanted! We spent most days either at the beach (2-3 min walk) or at the pool (where the staff delivered complimentary fruit kebabs a few times each day). Not much to do at night in the area, so we went into Albufeira on the nights we wanted to go out on the town. It's a 10-15 min taxi journey (about 8 euro). Taxis ordered by Reception, bt it seemed to take a long time to get though, so order well in advance. All in all great place for a quiet relaxing stay. The spa / gym also very good facility. We'd definitely go back.
