Opened in July 2002, the Vila Gale Opera Hotel overlooks the River Tagus and is adjoining to the conference centre and the lively dockland area. This hotel, with a musically inspired interior decoration, is an excellent location for both business and leisure, as well as for the organization of events and banqueting. All guest rooms come with air conditioning, bathroom, mini bar, satellite TV and 24 hour room service. Hotel guests are invited to use the heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam baths and massage treatments. The Falstaff restaurant and Fidelio bar come highly recommended and are the perfect place to unwind whilst enjoying the evening entertainment. Further facilities at the Vila Gale Opera Hotel include a fitness centre, conference rooms, laundry and garage parking (at an extra charge).

The Hotel could have not been more convenient for the port of Lisbon and my visit to the Tall ships race. The staff spoke English and I was treated with courtesy. The room was clean and had all that you would have expected. It was an international hotel room.I would definately stay there again.
