The Marina Vila Gale was built in 1995 and is positioned adjoining the marina, the beach and the casino in Vilamoura’s most cosmopolitan district. The hotel features stylish and well equipped guest rooms, each featuring a balcony and satellite TV. Guests can take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or unwind in the sauna and Jacuzzi (fees apply) and the hotel offers a range of sporting activities from table tennis to snooker. The hotel hosts guest entertainment on a regular basis and provides transport to the nearby golf courses and Vilamoura with its vast range of activities. Parking facilities are also on hand, at an extra charge, for the convenience of those arriving by car.

The hotel is central to all that goes in Villamoura. Close to Marina (3-5 mins); beach (10 mins); and old town (10 mins). The room we had was comfortable with a fantastic Marina/Beach view. The buffet breakfast and the dinner menus were excellent (the number and quality of restaurants in the area is amazing -priced similarly to home). The staff at the hotel and all Portugese people we spoke to were extremely friendly and helpful. If you have kids the pool is fantastic and there is a McD's up the road. The hotel had entertainment every night (and we went in Feb) and even had wine tasting during the day. Its just five minutes stroll to the bus for Faro and Albafuira. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 is the hotel in parts is a little dated, however it is very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would book again on return to Portugal.
