We stayed at the Vila Gaivota for six nights in October 2008. We booked a one bedroom apartment, but were given a two bedroom appartment on arrival. The accommodation was very spacious and clean, although could of done with an update. The location was excellent, although you do need a car to get around, this was not a problem for us as we always pick up a car at the airport when we holiday in Portugal. We did find that the water pressure in bathroom in double bedroom was very low, and you were unable to run a shower in both bathrooms at the same time. This was not a problem for us as there was only two of us, but could be a problem if staying with a family. We would highly reccomend the Vila Gaivota if you enjoy a holiday in a peacefull beautiful little resort, with fantastic scenery. We would certainly go back and book this accommodation in the future.
