Review of 'VENETIAN'

I would agree with all the previos reviews on this Hotel. It is the most luxurious and staff friendly hotel thet I have ever stayed in. The rooms have been described before and believe me they are superb. I stayed in the Venezia Hotel block with its own check-in desk. On arrival we had our luggage taken from our hired car and car valet parked. I had brought a bottle of Chapagne with me and when the Bell-boy arrived with the luggage the first thing he did was go and fill the Ice-bucket for me without any request. The towels etc. were changed every morning and they were also replaced every evening when the maid turned down the beds, put chocolates on the pillows and left the radio playing. I left a couple of dollars tip on the pillow and this is the only Hotel that I have received a thank-you letter from the maid. Anyway with 2 bathrobes in the wardrobe, a bud vase with a sprig of orchids, seperate walkin shower, bath and toilet, daily newspaper this is the hotel for me. The only complaint that I would have is that waiying for the valet to bring back my car each time took quite a long time, a minimum of 20 minutes, at least they brought round free ice-cold bottled water for you while you waited and in August I needed it. When I go back to Vegas I will definitely stay here again it is worth and personally I feel much better value than the Bellagio.

We stayed at this for four nights in August.  Words cannot describe the feeling as you open the suite door.  Even the smallest rooms are enormous.
The bathroom consisisted of a bath, shower, 2 basins and a separate room with the toilet. Gold bath accessories and a dressing table complete wit an electric mirror.
The lounge was a sunken room off the bedroom, complete with its own bar, 2 seater sofa and 2 comfy arm chairs. Coffee table and desk with fax which faxed you a welcome note.
Each had a wide screen television.  Pure unalduterated luxury.
Venice was recreated on the 2nd floor by means of St Marks square and canals with gondolas.  Shops abounded the area.
The fourth floor consisted of 2 very large swimming pools, a spa pool, and another large pool in which you could relax on a sun lounger. Waitress service was provided around the pools.
Las Vegas was an experience but I have to say that it was very hard going outside the Venetian to find out what the rest of the strip was like.  Do not hesitate to book this hotel - you will not regret it.

we stayed at the Venetian in january 06, this hotel is fantastic, huge but fantastic, the decor is out of this world, pure Italian from frescos on the ceilings to sculptures to paintings, the bedrooms are exccellent, we stayed in the Venezia tower part of the hotel which is located to the right of the reception when you walk in, a lift takes you up a couple of floors & we checked in here straight away, downstairs in the main building the queues to check in were extremely long, the venezia tower has its own swimming pool & trpical gardens, we received a strip view room at no extra cost & could see the volcano erupt every night across the road, waking up the following morning & looking out to the hillside was breathtaking, the rooms are spectacular, a sunken living room in every room, the bathroom is huge with an enormous bath & separate shower that im sure would fit 3 people at a time, there was a double vanity with fresh flowers, lotions, cotton buds, combs etc.  A daily paper is also delivered to your door each morning, 2 tv's, 2 beds, dressing gowns, mini bar, the only thing i could fault was the long walk back to the room but once you got there it was worth it, i would have no hesitation to recommend this hotel, its right in the centre of the strip so you are in a perfect position to trek either way to explore the strip, you also get vouchers for the Gugenheim museum (located in the hotel) & 2 for 1 vouchers for Madame Tussauds (also in main hotel) & a $10 voucher to play in the casino once you sign up to the players club(free), if you decide to stay here you will have a fabulous time

We stayed in this hotel for two nights at the beginning of October. The accommodation in this hotel is fantastic!! All the rooms in the Venetian are suites and they are huge! Each room has a sunken lounge area and an enormous bathroom. The hotel itself is amazing, the shopping area is spectacular to walk around with its rivers running through it and the painted sky on the ceiling. We walked around all the hotels on the strip and I would definitely say the Venetian was the most luxurious - much more so than the Bellagio! The price of the room was also very reasonable as long as you stay in the week and avoid weekend stays when the price goes up! The only negative things I would say about this hotel was that is was a long walk back to our room from the main entrance, but once you get there its well worth it. Would definitely come back to this hotel again!
