Review of 'THE WESTMINSTER'

Hotel is located 5 mins walk from tube and numerous shops and fast food outlets. But is in a tidy quiet area (though or room suffered from some external noise from what sounded like large air conditioning units.
We were incorrectly given a smoking room which was very smelly and the hotel were unable to relocate us.
Facilities were acceptable and continental breakfast included was excellent - tea / coffee / juice / fruit / bread rolls / croissant / jams / salad / hams / boiled eggs / yogurts etc
Decor could do with some updating and general finish of ensuite and seperate sink in room had a poor finish.
Overall a fair choice for the money, tho id not want to pay more than £50 for a room.

The hotel is situated in pleasant surroundings and close to the tube which is always a bonus. The hotel was well presented in the public areas although the bedroom we stayed in was tired looking. Generally not a bad place to stay for the cost

brilliant - had all the facilities required, 2 mins from main circle line ideal for touring the sites. barman, Charlie, was great and all staff were very efficient - rooms had all you need eg kettle iron tv etc....was chatting to manager, Vic, who was a really nice guy he offered to move us to one of the modernised rooms but we were only there 2 days so waste of time. if you go there, when at tube stn ask for daily passes - cheaper than any others. i was with my 13 yr old boy he loved it - loads of restauraunts nearby macdonalds burg king pizza hut and plenty of pubs...drinks were reasonably priced here as well (for London anyway).

The staff at the Westmister Hotel was friendly and very efficient. I particulary appreciated it when we asked for directions to different places. They would always highliht the way with a marker to make it easy for us to find the place. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which was buffet-style, and offered a variety of food, including a nice and fresh fruit salad. The rooms were spacious and clean, and it was practical to have internet access in the room. I felt welcomed at the hotel, where I stayed for 5 nights, and I would recommend it for a stay in London.

Hotel was in a good location 5 min walk from Bayswater Tube station (zone 1) and the main street contained lots of shops and bars and restaurants so plenty to do if you didn't want to go far for a night out! The hotel was pleasant though the rooms could do with some redecorating. Overall the stay was pleasant especially with the great price we got with alpharooms.com.

to use website. The website gave us a good choice of 20 hotels, when we are usually bamboozled with hundreds with other companies. We enjoyed a lovely stay in the Hotel Westminster, great location, pleasant service, comfortable rooms at an unbeatable price. An excellent choice for any visit to London
