We visited the Turmalina during the May half term break and found it to be excellent value for money. Although the accomodation is probably best described as tired, it was clean and spacious enough for a one bedroomed apartment. We had lovely sea views and a big balcony. It is in an excellent location, right on the beach, and my 5 year old daughter loved being able to swap from beach to swimming pool so easily. The staff from the pool bar, restaurants and shop at the Turmalina were exteremly pleasant. There was cable television in the room and we were able to get BBC1, world news, ITV1, ITV2, channel 5 and Eurosports, which was particuarly useful on the day that it rained all day! Calpe itself was exteremly reasonable and for the first time ever we actually came back with some money.
