When we arrived we were told that there had been a mix up over our (online) booking and the sea view we had requested was only available for one of the two nights of our stay, and if we still wanted the view we would have to change rooms after one night. I said that this was unacceptable, especially as we had paid in advance, and they said that if we left it with them they would see what they could do. After a walk round the town we returned and found that they had managed to organise a sea view room for both nights with no need to change and the room was great - fabulous view, very comfortable and well equipped, and we found the staff were all very helpful and courteous. The underground parking facility was a real plus. Our only niggles were a) that there was nowhere to sit with friends in an evening - the bar was very small and noisy with limited seating and we couldn't take our drinks through to the sofas in the reception area, and b) they were rather stingy with the tea bags - ours were not replenished and when we asked for more they brought us two! Overall though we were satisfied and felt that generally it was a good hotel - I can definitely recommend the breakfasts!
