Apartment very basic but linen and towels clean and changed every day First night kept awake for hours by people talking quietly (ish) through night - walls paper thin/surroundings on courtyard side very quiet. Complained to reception who first phoned, then sent night porter to deal - eventually quietened. In apartment - table, no chairs, no kitchen and no hairdryer. Checked in morning re next night neighbours - and then asked to move. Moved to much better apartment at front of block (overlooking road though with buses starting early) refurbished apartment, two plate electric, microwave, sink, much better decent furniture, altogether a very pleasant experience and excellent value for money - not sure whether you would get a refurbished apartment though first time. Breakfast excellent although egg and bacon not a Spanish speciality. Good friendly service, little English spoken but no real problems. Buffet style dinner in restaurant great value at 17.50Euros including wine or beer. Eg Prawns, salad, choice of fresh cooked salmon or steak etc then variety of desserts and coffee.

Just back from Madrid Stayed in Apartment beside hotel Accommodation very basic.Use of hotel pool.Didnt open until 11.30am.Apartment Cleaned daily.Fresh towels etc; Kitchen area locked ,not for our use.I thought going to an apartment one would have at least a kettle.Disappointed.Had to ask at front desk every time i needed the use of hairdryer.Staff pleasant spoke very little english hubby spoke pigeon spanish so we got through.Even in Madrid english not/very little spoken. wouldnt recommend apartment .

Excelent value in great location. Metro and Renfe station across the road giving access to all areas of the city. Stayed in the Apartment complex beside the Hotel. Cleaning service every day. Apartment basic but clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast included and wonderful selection of food. Would go again.

Very good apartment - big - great location two minutes from the Metro Underground and minutes from Kio Buildings in Plaza Castilla. The breakfast very good - good selection. I enjoed very much.
