Trullo La Quercia is crowned rather regally with three conical roofs, and faces a large oak tree, from which it takes its name, ’trullo’. Completely restored and renovated in 2004, the fixtures, furnishings and tiling are of the highest quality and all display lovely little touches. The property is just off a quiet secondary road and has ample parking. The front door is across a delightful terrace, great for al fresco meals especially in the evening when guests can enjoy the sun going down over orchards and olive groves. The proud owners live next door in a separate villa and, between the two properties is a stone pizza oven and barbecue area. A 10m x 5m swimming pool (open June 2005) has been constructed a stones throw away from the front door, and elevated slightly higher than the surrounding Apulia flatlands the air is more cooling here. In fact we are 6 kilometres from Locorotondo, a town-on-high that resembles Jerusalem. The glorious Adriatic is 20 kilometres away at Torre Canne and, closer to home, shops are to be found just 40 metres away. Trullo La Quercia sleeps four people within two bedrooms and comprises of a sitting/dining room, kitchen corner with hob, oven and fridge/freezer, two double bedded rooms, two single bedded rooms and two shower rooms with WC, etc, one with a washing machine. PLEASE NOTE: Security deposit - Euro 150 payable locally. Central heating - Euro 20 per day. Pool is 1m to 2.3m in depth.
