The Tropical Sol apartments are well located in Areias de S. João, in the town of Albufeira in the Algarve. The hotel provides a courtesy bus service to the Old Town districts, Inatel Beach and more. This service runs twice a day apart from weekends. The famous ‘Strip’ is just 300 metres from the doorstep where guests can enjoy a wealth of entertainment, bars and restaurants at their leisure. Guest apartments all come with a balcony to appreciate the great panoramic views and fully equipped kitchen/kitchenette. There is a good range of leisure facilities at your disposal and the hotel often features live entertainment in the evenings.

Excellent accommodation. Well equipped, cleaned almost daily. If it did not suit us to have the apartment cleaned we asked the cleaners to come back the next day. It was no hardship to make your own bed occasionally. The hotel at this time, April was very quiet and there was no entertainment. However there are plenty of bars and restaurants close by. We went to the Old Town one evening where we listened to some great live music. Taxi cost about 4 euros each way. The grounds staff were working very hard to get everything ready for the season. I would happily stay at the Tropical Sol again.
