Just back from our 12th visit to the Jardin Del Mar. If we can, we stay there twice a year. If you are looking for a quiet holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip in Santa ponsa, this is the area to stay. It offers a square with free quality entertainment each night. A selection of pubs and restaurants surround the square and offer a very good variety. Our personal favorite is the El Jardin Restaurant. Beautiful food with a service that’s second to none. The Jardin Del Mar is an apart hotel and as you walk into the reception you get that feel of grandeur. When you enter the reception from the street you are infact on the fourth floor. It goes three up and four down. The rooms are basic 1 bedroom Request a sea view because the views from the balcony are breathtaking. The rooms are kept clean and maid service is 5 days a week. The pool area is well laid out and roomy and there are plenty of beds. You are 10 mins walk from the main beach but there are a couple of nice private coves near the hotel if you prefer. We have found over the years the staff to be friendly and helpful but I would have to say we have never had a problem and have never had to complain so we have never experienced their reaction to complaints. I would recommend jardin Del Mar not only on its own but coupled with the area it’s in, the square, the pubs and restaurants you can’t go wrong.
